Just a heads up but from what I've heard, cats only do this when they're experiencing something traumatic, also shown by the ears back, the front of the body seeming to be pushed against the back and the teeth bared at the end of the gif. Just saying.
My granma's cat does that whenever my brother makes a lot of noise. and that's happened so many times, I think the poor thing would have had a heart attack by now if it's as traumatic as you think. From my experience, they just do it when they feel very threatened and they're trying to make themselves look bigger. EDIT Although, yeah THAT cat looks like it's about to die, but some cats don't look nearly so scared when they hiss and arch their back.
