The hand Ven weilds his keyblade with in the game is right. The movie its left.

 

It's possible that Ven is ambidextrous... However, I don't think that the hand you use to hold a keyblade shows which hand is dominant. It's possible that you can learn to weild a keyblade using both hands interchangeably (but write with a specific hand), as it has it's advantages if you do so (ex. If you break one arm you can use the other and is still able to fight regardless of the handicap).

I really never noticed. That's a good observation.

 

Maybe its just something they decided to change. Or he could be skilled with both hands, you never know.

 

I noticed that too. He may be able to switch off between hands, or in that particular scan, he could be doing a move in which he switches hands momentarily. Who knows. From the way he fights in the movie, I think he's pretty definately left-handed, and doesn't switch off much. More than likely, its just that one move.

We havent had a good lefty hero since Link and Rocky balboa.

I never noticed Ven was a lefty.

It may just be they mirrored the video for who knows what reason.

But if he is ambidextrous, that would fit with the Roxas / Ven link since Roxas appears to have a preference to two Keyblades, one in each hand, which would be more benificial to someone ambidextrous.

Well, it's not really a spoiler. It doesn't really tell us anything about the plot. Besides, maybe the dude's bidextrous?

I really don't see how this is important to the plot and/or gameplay. I see no link to what hand he holds his keyblade with and the storyline.

 

Hey. Don't forget there are points where Sora and Roxas fight with BOTH hands at the same time. That's just pure skill, not plot.
