Pretty nice. ;D I like V3 the best, personally. It's showing some innovation. I like the colors of the smudging and stuff, but they don't seem to reflect onto the stock. Maybe give him a purple-ish tint? I'd like to see some sexy text on one of the blocks in V3. I'm not too crazy about the vector-ish stuff behind his head.

Mhm. I was trying to be a bit different with the tag. The stock itself was a bummer. Only colors that smudged on it was red and the yellowish bg. I had to add every other hue. I don't know how I should put the text without it being chopped off though on v3. I agree with a bit more purple. The vectorish stuff is from the actual stock though ;D I couldn't erase it because I'm not good at rendering it out. I might mess up the head lawlawl.

    Thanks btw <3

Huh. Looks like V3 you can add your own choice of words like your motto or a note that you do or something. It looks great and the V1 and V2 looks great too. Overall, great job!

Version three is very post modern while remaining chic and contemporary. The color's seem to work well together, and I think something small needs to be done with the stock....i'm not sure what. It seems a bit lost in the background to me.

Guys, the problem with giving a tut is I don't know how I'll be able to interpret it. One problem in GIMP is that you can't smudge a stock with several layers. So my smudge'd stock is one layer. Unless you wanna' just get my .xcf file which I have. But all it'll have is one layer with all the smudging and the rest is color and what not. What I can do is offer the .xcf file, which would probably work on PS. Or I can make another tag...and have that go layer by layer (I'll have to find out how) and make the tut.

    So...what'll it be?

Thanks for the comments guys btw ^^

Damn, I forgot you were using Gimp. Otherwise I would have just asked for the smudge settings... I guess at the very least, what brush do you use?

Circle brush 9x9 11x11 13x13 nd 17x17. All default except for jitter settings. Set to usually 0.70-.80 and for straight strong ones no jitter. Opacity lowered to 90-80% for the more lighter smudges on parts and 100% on strong smudges.

Isn't PS able to open xcf files?

No, but they can open .psd's, which Gimp can save. They are, for the most part, the same thing.

I have recently made a tag with a more stronger version. And I kinda' went layer by layer so you can see a little more of what colors and how I did it. And I saved it as xcf...I can give it to you guys by psd. Sorry no preview. But you can wait for it when the member awards nomination is out because I've gave it to them ;D
