Kingdom Hearts II Slightly annoyed and need help

Okay so i completed KH2, did the 4 battles with Xemnas, watched the incredibly long (but rather cute) ending sequence where Riku & Sora go home followed by the credits (again rather long process) then it gave me a battle report, only i couldn't exit the battle report so i turned it off only to go back into it and find that the only way i know i even did that Xemnas battle is because i remember doing it, the game itself hasnt registered the fact i did it and i have to do them last battles again, so what i want to know is how do i complete KH2 get out of the battle report without losing all the progress i made from the last save point (before the very first Xemnas battle) and be able to go back into the game and do the bits i missed (like a few treasure chests)

 

I think you gotta do all that before you defeat the last boss.

 

I think i probably will, though i would have thought you would be able to go back into it somehow

 

I don't think you can (my memory fails), but in KH2:FM+ i know you have to.

Yeah, just go & do everything first then beat Xemnas.

What is FM? I know what it stands for but thats all i know about it :lol:

 

FM is Final Mix.

Final Mix is sorta like a remake of the game where some changes are made to the game, like new keyblades, items, heartless colour changes, a hardermode, new cutscenes etc. Also it's only released in Japan but it's in English.

O to attack - urm how bizarre, i think i better just stick to playing KH2, ive actually started the game again even though ive finished it (not deleted my other game though didnt have the heart to) i think i shall have to sort out them chests today though then go on and finish off Xemnas for good, then i can finish it and be happy i have actually done the whole game

 

Did you manage to get all the one's in Yen Sid's tower? Cause i don't think you can go back there.

 

Yep i did, i got all the really early ones but started to miss ones when it got to a stage where i wasnt able to get the some chests because part of the world was locked until later in the game

 

Ah that's good. When i first started it i accidently missed one in Yen Sid's tower so i had to restart it the same day. Not one of my brightest moments.

I can't remember if you need some of the abilities from your forms to reach certain chests. (been a while since i played it)

 

I hope not, i havent even been able to activate final form yet, it is really annoying

 

I find TWTNW tower to be the best place for that, mainly around the area you fought Xigbar. Find some nobodies & transform into Master form, & if it doesn't work quickly go back to the save point before that area & go back into the gummi ship.

Aye it can be a pain. One time it took me several hours to get it.

 

Urm is that like as you come away from the swarm of shaddows (which btw i love - shaddows are the best form of heartless ever but deffo in that final world because there are so many, i actually spent a whole day fighting them just to level up before even thinking of going to fight Xigbar and the rest of ORG 13 in that last world)

 

Aye, it's the big tower after all those heartless (a big white building. XD)

That place is great for leveling up Wisdom form, doesn't take long there.

 

So if im thinking about the right place then it should be the crooked ascension right?

if i recall after u have beaten the final bosses u have to reload the game and when u go to world view a thew more episodes are opened like the ones wich have one of the orc+ in hercs world.

 

Actually youcan, when you get to TWTNW The train is at the Twilight Town station.

 

You can't save the game, only Final Mix+ can do that, but you may want to complete Jimminy's Journal and if you haven't already, get Ultima Weapon, if you want to 100% complete the game, what difficulty are you on?

 

Playing the game on Proud Mode is actually easier and less time consuming if you want the secret ending and don't want to mess with the Journal. I completed the journal the second time I played the game just to say I did it and explore the game more but really, if you don't want to waste the hours it takes to do that, I'd suggest doing the game in Proud Mode. It really isn't that much harder I don't think, though I have to say I never played it on another setting.

Sadly, also, there is no way, after you beat Xemnas the second time, to save your game if you don't play KH2:FM. You have no choice but to go to the last saved spot and finish things from there if you want to do the journal and other things. It stinks but I guess the point of it is that you are done when you decide to step through those doors.
