Sleeping Death

okay, just a warning, i'm not much of a poet. but i kind of liked this when i wrote it down (though it's kind of on the darker side) so, here goes. tell me what you think of it please.

Sleeping Death
The sun sets,
the moons wanes,
the stars blink out for good.
She is asleep,
she does not see,
the darkness closing in.
Eyes at rest,
lips just apart,
breath slowly slowing down.
She dreams away,
this sad sad night,
until her light goes out.

 

Oh, wow... I have to say, this poem is quite sad... However, it has alot of feel to it... It's a great poem! good job! :)

Yeah haven't been too much into sad poetry....but it has feeling and depth.....and thats all that matters....good job Princess.....
