Sky is Over

There was the sound of another explosion as a building was blown up by Shu.

 

Kaori stopped and looked back, then noticed the man, it was the man that was advertising before. She didn't know what was going on, and what he had to do with all of it but he was right, they did need help though she didn't really know how to help.

 

The man approached her. "A child of God is said to be able to contain vast amounts of power, borowed by the angels of heaven. You are one of these children, am I not mistaken?" he asked her

 

" How would you know that?" She asked.

 

"A gift, some might say. Or atleast my friends gift which was able to help me. Your hand" he said to her, pointing to it. "It has the sign. That jewel on your hand" he said, approaching. "Your right hand, am I correct?" he asked her

 

She pulled her sleeve farther down her arm so it covered more of her hand and looked at him with a suspicious look.

 

"It is obviously there" he said to her. "Do you think that you can live knowing that you could've done something to save these people and yet you refused to? Can you deny doing something, when God, above all people, thought that you might be worthy of such a gift?" he asked her, pressuring her

 

" But how can I stop something like this?" Kaori asked softly.

 

The man placed his hand on her shoulder, as if there to comfort her. "You have a gift, don't you? You can't ask me, because I don't have your gift. But instead, you really need to ask yourself, just what is it that you can do" he said to her.

Grim stood above on the top of the near by building. "Its sickening sometimes what that guy does. Pretends to be there friend then forces them into a corner, to a point where they are forced to make a choice. Disgusting"

 

Kaori stepped away from him with her hands clasped together. She wasn't used to having someone touching her. After looking at him for a while she nodded once and headed over to where the explosions were, walking slowly.

 

"Good luck" the man said to her, as he watched her.

Grim looked at her as she walked. "I wanted her to get involved. But now he is doing non-nescesities" he muttered, as he stood and watched her walk towards the fight.

 

Kaori had no idea what she was getting into, or how she was going to stop whatever was going on, most of her powers were made for defense, not offense.

 

Sanger was on the ground knouked out, Shu was using his explosion ability to destroy parts of the town.

 

"Might wanna start by doing something to make him stop exploding stuff!" he yelled out at her from the far back ally way

 

Kaori looked back to where the ally was. Then looked at Shu and took a deep breath. She hated conflict and fighting so this was something she really didn't want to do. She closed her eyes and suddenly a bunch of roots came out of the ground and latched onto Shu.

Shu used his dark blade to cut the roots off him, he then fired Dark Blasts and explosions at Kaori.

 

Everytime he cut one two more would replace it. When she saw the Dark Blasts comming at her she raised a wall of rock in front of her with her hand, and then sent it flying towards him.

 

The wall exploded, shu Charged foawrd towards Kaori.

 

The kitten jumped fromKimmy's hands and ran off towards the loud explosions. "Wait kitty!" She yelled and ran after it, seeing the fight. "Please come back!" She yelled as the kitten stopped and hissed at the fighters.

 

As soon as he got close enough she held up her right hand and a beam of light came from it, temporarily confusing him. She then gracefully spun around him and then jumped out of range just as a bunch of roots sprung from the ground and latched onto him, forcing him to the ground.
