One of my all time favorite dubstep DJs. Something about extremely overplayed, loud basses just makes my spine vibrate and my head jam.

I like Equinox (First of the Year) quite a bit but that's really the only song I could get into. The rest just kind of gave me a headache. :x don't think dubstep is quite for me.

You should really look into Deadmau5. Both artists are quite good.

I'm really disliking how so many people are starting to use dubstep in their music as being some sort of break through innovation in rock music. I don't really enjoy dubstep, much less when it's being made by supposed rock stars. I can't speak for Dubstep ,but all those WAAHWAHWAHINGINGINGWAAHWAHWAAAAHINGINGING parts sound way too similar, and it's causing songs to blur together....First Korn did it, then The Used, and now there's an entire generation of "rock bands" that are involving dubstep. I know blending genres is how things are created, but it's obvious either dubstep doesn't work in rock music or that rock bands don't know how to use dubstep effectively.

I also would like to add, that the dubstep parts are being used like Breakdowns by most of these bands....it all sounds the same!

I don't see how this is relevant here because Skrillex' solo project isn't exactly a rock band.

I have a love-hate relationship with dubstep and Skrillex is no different, but at least he managed to sound different from all those other dubstep acts out there. And "First Of The Year (Equinox)" is quite enjoyable...when I'm the mood for it.

I'm surprised no one really gets into Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites. I like it a little more than Equinox (First of the Year). The music video for Equinox is quite creepy too.

Skrillex is one of my favorite dubstep artists. I'm surprised this didn't have a thread here already.
