I'm a pan head. My favorites are Whispers in the Dark and Looking fo Angels.

 

Skillet's releasing a live cd on Oct 21. That's exciting!

 

I already ordered the fan pack edition of it. xD

My school is going to get them to play up in our area. A lot my friends and I are so excited about it.

 

I'm a pan head XD I love so many of their songs.I love Rebirthing,Savior,Whispers in the Dark,Falling Inside the Black,and The Last Night. But the two main ones I like are Falling inside the Black and The Last Night.

 

I'm going to buy it eventually xD. I love how they sound live.

Seriously?! That's so cool! I wish they were coming around here.

 

I wanted the fan pack because it came with an autographed tour pass and autographed drumsticks. xD

Yeah, and we're also getting TobyMac and I think Kirk Cameron to be a guest speaker. We're having tons of fundraisers in order to do this; it's going to be a lot of work.

Anyway, to get back on topic.

Has anyone heard their song "Live Free or Let Me Die"? I love this song.

 

Kirk is so cool! He was awesome in Left behind and Fireproof.

Yes, that song is awesome =). It's going to be on their live cd (at least the more expensive version of it). And their acoustic songs too.

It was on their Comatose Deluxe Edition cd as well. That's where I first heard it.
I want to see them in concert so badly. The one time I was going to, I got sick.

 

I heard it on the radio first =).

I would love to see them live again, they are so totally awesome.


So, here's something that everyone can debate: Acoustic vs Non-acoustic.
On the Comatose Deluxe Edition, Skillet released acoustic versions of Rebirthing, Yours To Hold, The Older I Get, Whispers in the Dark, and Say Goodbye. Which is better?

For me, its the original, no doubt about it. The acoustic versions actually sound kind of latino 0.o. Especially Rebirthing and Whispers in the Dark. Look it up on youtube sometime.
Still though, I do enjoy the acoustics =).

 

To me, Whispers in the Dark acoustic sounded Arabian. xD
My friend agreed with me.
Rebirthing sounded really weird in acoustic. I didn't like it at all.

The other ones, though, were really good in acoustic. In my opinion, that is.
They should've performed Those Nights in acoutstic; that would be great, in my opinion.

 

Skillet is awesome. Probably my third favorite band ever. I have almost all their songs on my iPod. :)

 

I ordered autographed backstage pass pack. So happy, I actually got to go to a Skillet concert too. They blow your mind live, so go see them if they come near you.

 

Whispers in the Dark did sound Arabian.It was okay but I really didn't like it that much.Rebirthing was okay.I liked it.

 

They're an alright band but not my favorite. I've only listened to a few of their songs like Better Than Drugs, Rebirthing, and Comatose.

I wouldn't considered myself a "pan-head" though.

 

I found this video of John Cooper (lead singer) answering some concerns of fans. It was very interesting and kind of sad.
