Skillet

Is anybody else here a pan head? A "pan head" is a name that defines Skillet fans =). Skillet is only the best rock group EVER! My favorite songs by them are Comatose, The Last Night, and, well, all their other songs from the Comatose cd. And Forsaken and Savior are my favs from their previous cd.

So, who is loves Skillet?

 

*raises hand* I do! My church goes to see them in concert all the time, and I'm thinking about going with them sometime in a couple months! =D

My favorite song by them is "Take It All". =D

 

I've only heard one of their songs. To me they're pretty good. :sly: But not good enough. >=D

 

Theyre pretty good. I like "Rebirthing" the best. I even made an AMV to it ;O

I wouldn't call myself a pan-head though xD

 

?? I've never heard that song by them, and I don't see it popping up on itunes. You sure it's by them?

My church plays the Skillet songs all the time, I just forgot alot of the names... o.o

I just looked it up and "Rebirthing" is the name of one I really like... XP

I am proud to call myself a 'pan head', even though that's the first time I've heard that name. xD

Skillet is my favorite group; they are just phenomenal and all of their songs have great messages.
My favorite song has to be The Last Night, along with Whispers in the Dark, Savior, Yours to Hold, Forsaken, Live Free or Let Me Die, Collide, Those Nights, Comatose, and a whole lot more.
Seriously, I love all of the songs on their last two albums.
Their first four, however, weren't so great. They were good, but they sound nothing like the Skillet that we know and love today.

 

You play Skillet in church? That must be one rockin church! I wish my church was that cool ;D

EDIT: Those are all my favorite songs too Jazz =). You're right, they have really changed their style in the past few years and have finally found what they're best at. They're all so talented!

 

Oawwhhh.. I just had a look at it (I made it AEONS ago!) and I don't think its good enough.. (might make your eyes bleed lol) It's awful. I made it when I was a little newbie to youtube ;O

I have their Comatose CD, which is still one of my all-time favorite Album's (period). Rebirthing, Comatose, Falling Inside The Black, and Whispers in the Dark

 

yup ^^ lol my church loves rock music... seriously, my church may very well REVOLVE around skillet... every Sunday we watch a music video of a Christain rock band, and my youth director has TONS of CDs... rofl and we go to tons of Skillet concerts, but I never go... not really a concert type of person. XD (although I'm going to a Switchfoot concert with them tomorrow... how bizzare is that? o.o)

It's thanks to my church being obsessed that I even know who Skillet is... o.o

I saw Skillet in concert twice before, and they are totally awesome live. Switchfoot is alright live, but I'm not a huge fan of them anyway.

It's "The Last Night" that got me obsessed. I heard it on the radio and fell in love with the band.

My church is HUGE @_@ There must be over 200 people that go there...
Although that may be considered small to some people... Meh, the adults don't really get involved much with the music stuff... some of them do, though... lol XP

As long as you don't get too close to the Mosh pit, then yeah, they're not dangerous ;D.

That's a nice size. My church only has about 100 people on Sunday mornings (if we're lucky). It's got a lot of old people.

Ha! Then you've never seen a Skillet mosh pit. It's pretty crazy. I wouldn't dare go in it when I saw them live, it'd be too scary. And stinky because of BO xD.
