I think the average accepted amount is 7-8 hours of sleep each night. But then again every human is different and has different needs. I don't think there's a cookie cutter number for every person. I know if I sleep more than 8 hours, I feel like complete ****. And I've also functioned on only 4 hours of sleep, granted I slept like a rock the following night. Non-rambling point: Everyone is different. 6 hours may be all you need but I am not a doctor/sleep specialist.
Nah your good bc its not always good to sleep in any way. Im actally jealous bc it seems like i just sleep my summer away lol
Normally I can't function with 6 hours. I work on something or maybe 2 hours and I get worn out. If that's your case, then try to get more sleep. But then again, it may be your diet. Depending on what you eat, it affects your sleeping patterns. Take it from me, I have sleep insomnia only because I started skipping meals. Sometimes 2 or 3 a day in High School. Not healthy.
I think you'll be fine c: Six hours is never enough for me, but if you're up and functioning then good for you! You'll have a lot more to do in a day with 6 hours of sleep being enough.
I think they say that 6-8 hours of sleep at night is good for adults. Teens needed a bit more (7-9 iirc), and children are a different deal. Personally I can manage with six hours of sleep, but I need caffeine and I get bouts of drowsiness throughout the day...
I envy you, I only sleep about 4 hours a night. But that's just because I always go to bed at an ungodly hour
