I own FFVIII - FFXIII osts plus a lot of the piano and additional soundtrack variations if you guys ever wanted them. Though I suppose its easier to just download them... xD

Also, how much would it cost to upgrade the number of listeners?

I just want to point out:

    var SECURITYTOKEN = "1344019720-f6ab4b59a02b15b9159ec1fdbf646909708b1b4f";

Not sure if you consider that important or not.

I've added the link to the radio page on the navbars on all the 5.0 styles, I believe Mark did the other styles but these have an independent navigation.

Also Mark did like... all the work for this so yay him. <3 I contributed the Pocahontas soundtrack tho~

I am honestly disappointed in him for these 128kbps tracks.

HOW COULD YOU? YOU ARE A DISGRACE TO THIS MUSIC.

    128kbps really isn't bad.
I apparently have very good hearing (I can hear a lot of dog whistles?) and while some songs have some quality cringes, on the whole I really don't mind it. The server is limited to 128kbps unless you pay more money, which again, you can PM Mark about.

Kindly deposit $500 in my paypal account if you want 320k that badly.

I'm so happy this is finally up publicly and I can talk about it ^_^.

I've been using it throughout testing, which has been going on for about a month now and I lvoe it so much, particularly the NieR OST which surprised me.

Hope you guys love it as much as I do!

    Your server is terrible.

128kbps is the lowest standard quality I know of, and I can hear the difference in quality. It is obvious. Like it is coming through laptop speakers even though this is an expensive set.

You can do it in FLAC for free if you go and get the files. It would just be a a lot of work. Setting up an online database of files and making your own online DJing program would take maybe three days of hard work. Most of the time would be in the uploading.

As far as I am concerned, anyway. You wouldn't have the 'station' option off the bat (I am sure it can be done once you make your own stream) but meh.

Problem is, that is highly illegal. As is this?

Well, as we said, if you feel strongly about it take action and contribute some cash. We don't receive profits from ads or anything, that all goes to Ron, we're paying for things ourselves. The cost of a server that can broadcast at 320kbps isn't exactly pocket change, and even if we did raise enough, I think the funds would be better allocated towards allowing more listeners, don't you?

In other words, I prefer quality over convenience.

    32 Kbps? 64 Kbps? 96 Kbps?

The quality is fine. Why you're even complaining about this is seriously laughable.

Please do show me this free radio server, because I'd certainly like to see it. And don't give me a garbage site like listen2myradio.com. Protip, you can't.

If it were me, I would forgo the cash I do not have and make my own system. Something I am used to doing. Truth be told I might contribute if it gained enough popularity that my care would affect many, but I am flat broke.

I would sooner pay for higher quality and then listeners. I want the few listeners I have at first to get a taste of quality. Maybe then they will be more willing to contribute.

Yeah, those are not standard qualities. I have only ever seen them used as a joke. Must have been before my time.

I am complaining because I am used to 196 at minimum. I didn't even have to check the page to know it was subpar because I could hear it, but the 128kbps badge was disappointing because you say that like it is a good thing. It is the default quality on a ripped CD without editing. The lowest standard unless you try to go lower.

I didn't mean it would be a free radio server. I meant it would be an ad-hoc radio player that you coded yourself on a general server. If you bought an FTP server with substantial space you could just integrate that with the player here and that would work. I don't use web radio at all, so I am probably speaking of something completely different, but it would have the same functionality on this site.

128k is pretty standard for internet radio. Some offer up to 320k, but usually stations far more popular and have the money to do so. You need to take bandwidth into account also.

If you don't like the quality for whatever reason, you're welcome to not use the radio. Simple as that.

I'm mostly annoyed that they are milking you that much for it. I assumed you chose that quality when you could have chosen any.

This song that is playing right now, for instance, is really tinny.

No, I've been listening this whole time. I'm just annoyed and want to improve on it because it is a good idea and it needs to be a perfect idea.

The song thing has been stuck on "Current Song: Tsuyoshi Sekito - Ice-hot Lobster" for a long time.

This is probably a stupid question but Will there be non-game OST songs? Maybe recommended tracks by users. It could cover all genres.
