I decided to write some more poetry because according to some people, I'm a great poet who just can't commit. This one is written about my movie-obsession. :3 Written with no spell check, so please point out errors. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Apparently, according to my sister, this sounds more like a song because of the repetition at the end. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Working Title(s): Kneller's Happy Campers, The Kid Must Know People In High Places ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ toss a match to the side; it floats to the sky I just can't do it; they'll never tell me why but when all I want it just to make you smile it's impossible; but maybe I can impress you for a while let's just take off, you and me; there's nothing else I want to see. from your undying determination, to your thrill in vandalization; you make me love and help me think of nothing of this miracle I just can't give up I'm falling and falling your name is all I seem to be calling, I'm calling I open my eyes to these hospital lights and there you are without a care at all I'm falling and falling your name is all I seem to be calling, I'm calling I'm falling and falling And your name is all I seem to be calling I'm calling you, love
I jot down things all the time, rarely ever bothering to finish anything. On occasion I'll flip through the pages of my notebook and put together (and edit a bit) some of the little stanzas I've written that I think capture the same emotion.
GJ Misteh. T'was hawt. I do the same thing, except most of mine aren't written, they're up in my head.
