sims question

for anyone who plays this game i have a question....i want to get sims 2 for the PC but if i do do i have to buy sims 1....thanks to anyone who helps

 

Nope, you don't need to have bought the first Sims to play the second. They're both different games.

 

Yeah, Sims and Sims 2 are different games. Sims expansion packs won't work with Sims 2, and vise versa.​
