[not sure if this is the right place but...] Okay, so, yesterday I decided to play my Sims 2 double deluxe with uni expansion pack, which was working completely fine. so, I turned it off when I had to go to. And today it's not working, it gets to the loading screen then just returns me to my desktop. If anyone could tell me what's wrong please do!
*sigh* Sims 2 always causes troubles. Could you give any other details? Not sure what could it be just by that and i can only think of the language problem which it doesn't seem to be the one in your case. @Kubo: ... Reinstall the Sims...? Haven't you ever played the game?
Have you installed any new Custom Content? That's usually what caused problems for me. If so, trying moving all of your Mods out of the game directory (I think it's something like My Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 2/Downloads) and see if the game starts up. If it does, you just need to figure out which Mod is problematic, which is usually pretty easy.
In case you can't solve the problem, visit the official site. I assume someone there should be able to help.
