I laugh at Peta whenever I hear about them. I mean, if we didn't eat meat, what would all the cows, chickens, and other animals being bred for food be used for? You know, plants are alive too! Why don't we just not eat anything? Plant rights! Cabbage is murder!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KmK0bZl4ILM Anyways, this "game" seems to be intended for someone who's never cooked before. Because I can assure you that neither little feathers nor blood is in the eggs you eat. Jeez, these people are insane.
I think we established this the moment they started making a big deal about the abuse of animals we're just going to eat anyway instead of doing something about the abuse of human children.
They were trying to make people who play the game feel bad for "killing" animals.....what a pathetic attempt to persuade people.......
That reminds me of a Futurama episode in which a lion was forced on a diet of tofu. Poor thing was skin and bones. Animals need meat for how much physical activity they perform in the wild. That's why so many more humans are obese compared to animals.
What Cooking Mama forgot to tell you all is that: In the US, almost all birds have their throats slit while they're still conscious and according to the US Department of Agriculture millions are scalded to death in tanks of hot water. I'm not American, but I hope all of you Americans have a pleasant Thanksgiving this year.
They're bred for food. That's part of the slaughtering process. The boiling probably kills germs. And, how else should they kill them? Wait for old age, when the meat is no longer tender? They have to kill them somehow. It's not like they're intelligent.
I hate to be all PETA-y, but just because they aren't as smart as us doesn't mean that they can't tell a good life from a crappy one. O.O 'Kay, I'm done. *eats chicken wing*
This game made me feel really sick. But I still love me some Turkey. :D Besides, they're supposed to be eaten. And excuse my ignorance but what else do Turkeys do that benefits the world that's isn't being eaten and feeding us? (Really asking).
I know this sounds gross, but after I played that game, I had a Turkey sandwich for supper *?* and I thought it was good....
