I looked through the approve and rejected suggestions and did not find this in there, so I thought that I'd make it.

Anyway, I already made the suggestion on the SEGA forum, so here's the post.

Also, I know that the limit is 7 lines, but it's 4 over there, so just act as if it said 7 for here. :)

Well, prems have 11 lines of sig space, but a tiny increase for the normal members might not be such a bad idea. I remember trying to fit in what I wanted and getting mad when it didn't fit. Thing is that it's up to people like Misty and RvR.

I think the main problem is the performance on low end PCs or internet connection. They can't handle all the information coming from the lines of data that it takes to process of a large sig. I think a line or two wouldn't be too bad, and maybe 800 words would alright but that really depends on the Staff.

It's plenty of space imo. Like Cat said if you want more, I'd suggest start working your way towards premium. A premium benefit is more lines in their sig and they are allowed to have two images instead of just one.

I never had a real reason myself to have a huge sig. For one thing they are completely optional. I find sig's that are really big to be rather bothersome actually.
As RvR said if you want more lines and two images go for premium, but not having the sig you want isn't going to be the end of the world.

To become a premium member, you need to sell your soul to KHV get 1,000 posts. Once you hit premium, your sig space will be larger and you'll get a pink username.

It honestly isn't much depending on where you post.
And the amount of topics you post in. But if you really want more sig space then you have to work for it.

On my SEGA forums account, I have around 9,530 posts, but that's because there's a lot there to post about and I joined on 7/28/2007.

That's 2382.5 posts a year on average, and about 6.5 a day. At that rate you would get 1000 posts on KH-Vids in 154 days, or 5 months. /math

Also to get Premium you have to be registered for 60 days, which you already are.

But it's entirely doable, if you put the time into it. =] And if you don't feel there's enough to post about on here, feel free to make a new topic about something you are interested in!

In the meantime just try to make it all fit.

It's possible that the Sega forums have the post count everywhere, as opposed to excluding the Spamzone-esque sections and the like, making it far easier to post.

For example, I'm making a post here now, but it's not adding to my post count, as the suggestion forum doesn't give post count.

That said, I don't have an opinion on this. On one hand, more space is nice for the user. On the other, I have to look at these signatures, and a lot of large signatures is a massive pain. Furthermore, I'm premium and I'm good at using the limits given, so I tend to have enough space.
