Video 'Show me Your Skillz' AMV contest

I downloaded dark chest od wonder (limewire), but near the end, it sounds like someone off a radio station. Is that in the actual song? Or...is it just wrong?

It is a direct CD rip (for use of the AMV only)

And no there shouldn't be a radio station like thing in the song.

 

sounds interesting...but thats kinda ard using those two songs. I dunno. My WMM is broken and my Roxio 9 works sorta slow... I am working on a vid "Naruto is Stillborn" but I want it to be perfect so it will take me awhile... put me on the pending list to see if I feel like taking a break from it. When does the contest end?

Try the yousendit link i gave, all you need to do is a simple register and it's simple from there.

And Roxasvsriku, you don't have to use both songs in the same video, you can pick which one you want to use.

 

The one with the radio is the one I got off LW and it supposedly is infected with viruses.

 

No no, I know that, I meant it sucks to use only those two songs. I just listened to both of them and they seem pretty complicated to work with...

 

Ah I see, well in a way that is the point, it is to show me your skills. Both are generally fast songs with tons of timing opportunties. Not the easiest songs to work with.

 

Ah, good point. Well, ill try to squeeze this in, unless the contest ends soon. This shouldnt be too much trouble to me since Roxio and Sony Vegas can do pretty much any song. Could be tough for you WMM people though :/

 

This will good way for me to improve my skills i am still not sure of which song to use i will post later when i am decided for the meantime put me in the list i am in

Darkandroid's Tip #1:

Watch other videos using the same song, get ideas and expand apone them, some of the greatest AMV's i've seen are inspired by someone elses work.

15th of December, so you have just over 2 weeks, if more time is needed for some members i can move it back a bit :)

 

2 weeks should be plenty ^_^ Though I don't know how long other people take on their AMV'x ^^;; (by the way, I chose to go with Dark Chest of Wonders, but what I'm using is gonna be a surprise.)

Can my AMV be on Devil May Cry? Or does it have to be on anime? Like Hellsing, Naruto, One Piece, etc.

 

Don't let the AMV name confuse people, it can be a music video of any kind. I just called it a AMV because it is the most widely known name for them.

So in other words, you can use DMC.
