358/2 Days should they make a remake of 385/2 days for ps2

It really wouldn't. I mean they could use spiltscreens, but in a game like 358/2 it might be pretty hard to play. Though online play could be fun.

 

Yep days in nothing without its multiplayer it makes it unique and makes up they bulk of the game I think its to early to talk of a remake now I have yet to play the game though.

 

Well the main reason I think COM was remade was because it originally had Game Boy graphics and they wanted to make one with next gen graphics. Also, it was more of an important part of the story because it had to do with the protagonist, when Days is a good part, but not as important. We already knew Roxas was in and thrown out of the organization, all days did was show that period in time. I haven't played through all of Days, but using my knowledge about what I did play, and what the game is about, that is my best guess.

 

Judging by Nomura saying that KH2 would be his last KH on the PS2, no, even though Re: CoM was re-released in NA to the PS2.

Maybe in 10 years time, they'll make a remake on, like the PS5.

 

I know full well that it wouldn't be Kingdom Hearts with Splitscreens. As long as it isn't like Brawl Wi-Fi, I wouldn't mind the online play thought.

 

In a interview, Nomura was asked about this question. He said it was too soon for a choice.

Why does everyone want Days to be ported so badly? Is it that by some freaking miracle you don't have DS and can't pick up a 1st gen one for like $60? DS works just fine for this title.

If anything, we're not looking at a remake for SEVERAL years. There's no way anyone is/should be thinking that far ahead.
Besides, it would take a big overhaul to port this anywhere. Almost to say that it would need to be completely remade.

Other notes: if you want to play the Final Mix games so badly:

1) Modify your PS2 and import it

2) Get a computer with a decent CPU and emulate it.

I've done both; using my FM+ disc to test the emulator when I DL'd it. (PCSX2)

Both the Final Mixes are fun, but honestly they are not worth localizing. Honestly, you should be wishing that KH2 ='d KHIIFM+ in the first place because in terms of satisfaction in content and challenge, FM+ should have been KH2 to begin with.
But it wasn't. That's the sad part.

Back on Days, it's a satisfying title as it is. Challenging, that's for sure. I have found it fun, so far.
But there is NO reason to have this remade already and for there even to be a discussion on it.

 

No, for crying out loud, no no no no. PS2 is just about dead, there'd be no market for a remake on PS2. Frankly, I think 358/2 caters so much to JUST the KH fandom that I don't think there'd be a market for a remake at all, regardless of which console it's on.

Every time a KH title comes out or gets announced I see this question pop up. I'm going to be blunt -- Just because you only have a PS2 does not mean they're going to baby you and make sure every KH game ends up playable for you. So instead of hoping for that, save up your money and buy the console that it's meant for. You could even borrow one from a friend, and I think places rent them too. I don't mean to sound harsh but really, the PS2's reign is just about over. It's the only last-gen console still clinging to its (active) spot on gaming websites like Gamespot and IGN, and pretty soon it'll be gone there too.

 

Yeah, PS2 has still time to live.

 

Theay really should because I have days and it has good graphics for a DS but I wanna see something with better resolution and is the size of my TV screen instead of something smaller than my palm.

 

they are all cross-platform ports. Not really being "made" for PS2.

Allow me to rephrase. No one is DEVELOPING for the PS2. Which is what would need to be done to bring a game like Days to the PS2.

Why would you even want it on the PS2?

i get KH:COM getting onto the PS2, i mean Gameboy was not the most amazing handheld with the graphics and such, but the DS's graphics are just as fine, i mean 3Demensional Wise. so guys, just stop asking for stuff.

This should be common sense. I just don't get why this isn't obvious. No one is developing games exclusively for PS2. Sony doesn't even sell the console anymore, let alone support backwards compatibility.

If you don't get this I have no idea what to tell you. It's 2009, damn it.

 

I'd prefer to have Final Mix 1 and 2, besides it was just released why would they remake it so early if they wanted too.

there is just so many people who would just rather play the psp ps3 and with the new slim

Of course they should make a remake. I heard a rep for Sqare Enix was talking about during Comic Con. I dont' care which systerm. That way nothing would be cut out. Alot of people still like the ps2. I am one of them. PS3 is too expensive.

 

I would love to see a remake for the PS2. That way they can include more cut scenes and dialogue from the organization members.

 

No, they shouldn't. The game itself is fine. The only reason they remade Chain of Memories was because of the 2D Graphics.
