Live-Action: A big, fat, juicy, N-O. They's need to buy loads of Sora's special hair gel that only Cid and the Moogles have to offer, so no. It just wouldn't be possible.

Live-Action with the Animation World: Like what Destined said, it would work out with the whole "cartoon/live-action" vibe. It's be just horrifying.

Anime: If it has the same animation like in the manga, then yeah I'd go and see it. As long as they have the same voice acting (Hayley Joel, Jesse McCartney, Hayden Panittere, etc.) then I'd definatly go and see it.

The Graphics You See at the Beginning of Kingdom Hearts and Kingdom Hearts II: A big, fat, juicy Y-E-S. That would be the starting of a dream of a/the Kingdom Hearts movie.

But, I'd still go and see if it was good or not.

That would be cool if they did a movie. The same way they did Advent Children.I liked that movie so I guess it would be nice if they did a movie.

If it was live action, it would be the worst idea hollywood has had yet. If it was CGI, it still wouldn't be that good. First of all, as White_Rook said, it would be pretty hard finding a plot. Second, KH isn't that successful. A CGI movie would be a flop. I'm sure you're all aware at how much money it takes to make one. And unless they could make an amazing story, it would be a huge waste of money from SE if they would do it. Like our fair and lovely "Final Fantasy The Spirits within". Let's face it, KH should just stay where it is.

Also, lol at the spammy posts in this thread.

-_- No, I'm sorry, no. For those of us who've played the game, it would just be a boring repeat. Sure, if it was CG, it would be nice (for me) to see Axel in all his CG glory. Besides, isn't the manga enough?

I agree with most ppl. It would have to be in CGI, like advent children.

If the movie was based around the game, it would be a problem to get all the required Disney characters from the game into CGI, and it might look strange. Sure, it works with Donald and Goofy, but characters like Aladdin, Pinocchio and Alice would be weird. And then another problem. The length of Kingdom Hearts is BIG. There are many different subplots - one for each world the gang visit! It would have to be cut down to be more like the manga, or maybe be released in 2 seperate parts.

If it had its own plot it would be cool. I think it would be cool if someone like Roxas was having a battle against Sora, or something like that.

On this subject - look at what I found:

    Possible Kingdom Hearts Anime Movie?
In June 2002 Disney announced tentative plans to develop a Kingdom Hearts animation. Now Anime News Service reports that Kingdom Hearts II game director Tetsuya Nomura has mentioned in an unidentified magazine published outside of Japan that the Kingdom Hearts animation may be a theatrical film.

According to an interview with Square's Tetsuya Nomura (director of Kingdom Hearts II and Final Fantasy VII Advent Children) in an uncited overseas (outside Japan) magazine, an animation based on the game maybe forthcoming in the format of a theatrical film.

    At first, I would agree.
It would be nice if it was a cgi film, but I'd rather play then watch.
Still there are some people who won't know KH because they don't like playing video games (and they're good people, believe me or not!)

No! Do you know how awful it'd turn out? o_O
I mean forget it, live action anything sucks. And CGI, what could they possibly do with it?
There is no way they would make anyone happy, everyone would constantly whine about it. Just, basically, no.

You took the words right out of my mouth (well, he other ones)!

But, if they were able to make 2-D characters come out like they did in Kingdom Hearts (for ex., the ones you listed: Aladdin, Pinocchio, and Alice), then there could be a possibility to make them come out in a CGI form. Plus, they could take as much time as needed to find the perfect look towards the characters-but keep in mind, there might not even be a Kingdom Hearts movie coming out!

Also, about most of you (or at least I think most of you) having the complaint a/the Kingdom Hearts movie not having enough time within the entire film to put in all the worlds, keep in mind the manga didn't add several of the worlds that were in the game (ex.- Deep Jungle, Halloweentown, taking out each world in CoM Manga, etc.), and a lot of us still turned out to like it.

Back to the quote, where did you find that Kingdom Hearts movie info.? And, yes, it does look old, six years worth.
