Should there be A KH Movie?

i think it is a good idea that there should be a kingdom hearts movie. what do you all say about that?:)

 

If there were to be a KH movie, it would have to be computerized like FFVII AC or the Resident Evil CGI movie that hopefully is coming out. But if they decide to try and make it life action with elements from Who framed Roger Rabbit or all blue screen, it will suck because live action video game movies have never done well at the box office.

Truthfully i'd just be happy with more games than a movie.

 

I agree with Destiny. Unless it was CGI like Advent Kiddies, it really just wouldn't be that great. Everything would look incredibly awkward. And seriously, no one can pull off some of their hairdo's. The Keyblades would probably look pretty funny as well. :l

And a movie? Despite the pleas of this website, Kingdom Hearts isn't the cash-cow of Square. In all respects there wouldn't be a big enough market to profit from the film. Then there's the issue of what the plot would be. Condensing the whole world-hopping bonanza into an hour and a half, give or take a few, would most likely create a tragedy as bad as Jumper. It's good as a game and doing well as a manga, but that's as far as KH should stretch it's limbs at least for now.

yeah, a movie for KH? I like the idea but if you think about it, it would be kinda boring.Watching it instead of playing it wouldnt work out....

It would be nice to see a movie, but it'd have to be CGI or it would be just horrible. I agree with White_Rook, there would have to be a decent plot to it. So, it would be nice to see, but only if it was done right. No crazy real actors and poor story lines.

 

I think it would be cool to have an anime movie. Or like Advent Children. But then again, it might be stupid because of the plot. But yeah, I want BBS to come out, I don't really want a movie to stop it.

I don't really know. If they make it well, then I'm all for it. But if they did make a KH movie, it will probably butcher the game. They will most likely have to find a new voice actor for Sora, and possibly Kairi and Riku, too. It just wouldn't be right.

That's true... FFVIIAC looked great im mean the graphics and everything, but it actually can not be based on KH1 KH2 or any premade games coz it would probably suck big time

 

it should be made like FFVI AC, even in the plot a continuation of the game

and instead of tifa fighting some guy in the church, kairi fighting in the island against someone that ends kidnappping her and takes her away while sora and riku arent with her

I'd be cool if there acually was a KH movie if it was like Advent Children or anime-ish . Other then that i'd kill it ....

 

I think a CGI movie would be cool, but they'd have to be really careful not to mess it up. I'd like to see everyone looking pretty in all that high-def animation.

I'd only trust a live-action version to Guillermo Del Toro, the guy that made Pan's Labyrinth and Hellboy. He's really, really good at working CGI and really complicated makeup and such into live-action stuff. So I wouldn't doubt he'd be able to do KH in live-action. But actors are another story entirely. They'd have to Cast by comparing the Actors to the Characters, there's a term for it, but I can't remember what it is. So it probably wouldn't work.

 

They could probably hire the voice actors for the game; I mean, come on, what else does Haley Joel Osment have to do?

 

Just as long as it isn't with actually actors it'd probably be cool... ^^​
