I don't think it should be banned from schools. Kids eat junk food regardless of a school ban. I know a girl at my school wwho eats french fries every single day, and she's very skinny. (No. I am not lying.) They should encourage people to eat healthier instead. It works because it can make a person feel guilt. Eating junk food responsibly is a good thing. Eating it all the time every day is not. If you do eat it often, exercise and stay active to keep your fat in check.

No, because lunch is the only thing I look forward to during school. I'd rather not have my pizza and chips taken away, thank you.

It depends on how healthy the school is. If there is about 10-20 (depends on how big the school is)kids overweigh then they should keep it but still offer more health chooses than junk. if there is more than 20 (still depends on how big the school is) kids overweight then they should take it away.

No. Parents are responsible for their kids' health and diet, not the school. If parents do their job right, these overweight kids wouldn't be overweight in the first place. The parents need to start doing things like packing lunches for kids that actually have a decent amount of food in them, and getting them to exercise (and with the energy that kids have, it shouldn't be too hard), and other similar things.

No, I need my junk food.
They started trying that eat healthy thing at my school. Only diet sodas and they make you get a furit of some sort when you buy lunch. No one ever eats it and it all is wasted so the program is clearly failing, and is a waste of money.

They're removing the vending machines from my school this year. :/ It's really stupid. I don't think that junk food should be bad. It's the parent's as well as the student's(depending on how old they are) job to make sure their eating right and healthy.

I definitely don't think it should be banned. For one, the alternative at my school (diet sodas) can be more unhealthy than the junk food itself!

Also, students will eat junk food regardless of if you can get it at school. I know that I have friends (and hell, I did it myself!) who would bring their own sodas so they didn't have to drink diet, or bring regular chips instead of baked chips. Forcing them to have a healthier alternative would only work if they banned bringing your own lunch.
