Should I leave this site?

No Seriously, I mean it. Should I?

I'm a Premium Member. And I'm 20 Years Old. But I am getting absolutely NO RESPECT anymore AT ALL...

While all the other Premium Members on this site are being treated like gods...

I've been kind to people and been friends with many people on this site who didn't have any other friends and I've thought of others many times.

I've had a good membership here for a long time but now everybody is just starting to brush me off...

And I feel like everybody is betraying me...

And by how unpopular my Question Time thread is I can tell that I'm not very popular here...

I feel like despite everything I've done I'm being called both worthless and a joke at the same time...

I really don't see any point to me being here anymore...

And starting now I'm giving all of you only a few days to convince me to stay.

If you guys really want me here then prove it. Cause I'm starting to think that you don't.

 

Jaden, not everyone betrays you. You need to think of those who care for you and would hate to see you leave. You don't need to be a "God". I have much respect for you because you are a great friend. I'm sure others feel the same way. You shouldn't let those bad feelings get to your head. I've told you before. Also you don't need popularity to be happy here. And I'm sure no one hates you.

However, for whatever reason you do leave, you'll be greatly missed.​

 

That's easy for you to say. I feel VERY unappreciated for all I've done...

I've been a friend to SO MANY people but now I am getting nothing but DISRESPECT...

It's not easy for me to say. I know because I've gone through it. I'm actually in a bad state of mind for a while now. To the point that I'm crying constantly. But I try my best to stay happy for others. You've done nothing wrong that I know of and I have no idea who would disrespect you...I just hope that you won't leave.....​

I'm hardly having ANY fun here anymore at all...

The only things keeping me here anymore are Mandy and The Duel Arena...

 

Jaden, I barely know you, but I know that this place wouldn't be the same without you. You don't have to compare yourself to other Premium members. And don't think about all the people that don't respect you. Think about the ones that do. How would they feel if you left? People are calling you worthless? Ignore them. They're just being immature and make themselves feel good by putting others down.

 

Jaden, you have absolutely no reason to leave. Do you feel like I'm betraying you? Because I'm not, and I really appreciate how good of a friend you are. And so do many, many people. I'm your friend and I respect your decisions, so if you really feel like you need to leave, go ahead. I'll miss you a lot. But I don't think you should leave.

 

That's really nice of you to say. But I don't feel like going into things. My mind would go off on you. So rather than argue with you and try to do my best to convince you, I'll just let others do so. You'll just keep opposing me. Why ask of you're just gonna oppose?

No, It doesn't have anything to do with you. You're one of my very best friends on here.

But I've started going through a whole lot of crap on this site besides heartbreak and it's REALLY getting to me...

I'm not going to sugarcoat this; if you feel like you should leave, then you should leave. None of us can know exactly how you feel, and people asking you to stay is simply selfish of them. If something you do doesn't make you happy, I don't believe that you should do it anymore.

But leaving because you feel unappreciated is just running away from a problem. It doesn't solve anything, it just leaves you to find a new site to visit where you might be the most popular guy around, or no one will care about you. If you have even just a few friends here, it might be a reason to stay. Or not. It's your call. This is just a decision that you kind of have to make for yourself.

 

Jaden, there's one key thing you have to keep in mind here, and that's that this is the INTERNET. People do stupid crap on the internet sometimes, but you shouldn't let it get to the real you behind the computer screen.

From whn you wer telling me about some of the bs you were going through. I told you that I have nothing be the up most resepect for you. And I hope that you realize that no one here is betraying you. Well... ummm I can't really speak about those who you thing are betraying you cause then I'd be very ignorant. But I want you to know that you can't leave. Like it wouldn't be the same without you. Always seeing those funny face expressions, or the fact that your the ultimate duelists, and the fact that you have someone that really cares for you. And I'm not saying that as an excuse like OOO think about her. What do you think would happen to her if you left.... No none of that bs I'm just saying like this is the legit sh** right here. You have a lot of people that care for you so just let them show you how much you mean to them.

 

He makes a really good point. But also even though it is, some have trouble letting it go. Maybe it's best if you took time off and think it over. If you want to stay, then stay. And if you want to go, just say goodbye..or not. Either way, the decision is all up to you like Misty said.​

Whining about not getting respect isn't going to get you respect and with your constant "CRAAAAAAWLING" attitude I'm not surprised. You'll just end up looking like an attention whore this way. If you want to go, go, otherwise don't make a departure thread that isn't even a departure but a question to which you'll end up not leaving from it anyway.

I would hate to break Mandy's heart...I know she wants me to stay...

I've been here for a long time...This place is like a second home to me...I would hate to leave it...

But I really don't feel like I'm serving any purpose being here anymore...

I don't think you understand...I don't ask to be treated like a god or anything like that.

All I want is a little bit more appreciation for all I've done for the people on this site...

 

I've been doing a wee bit of digging, I see what's going on here....

At any rate, it's your choice but keep in mind that you are a well-respected member on this site, and I see you have more than a handful of loyal friends. One person giving you a hard time doesn't really mean that the whole world feels the same way.

I've been a member on this site for just about the same time as you have, and I think you've done rather well for yourself. You still have the Duel Arena (which I think only you can run at this point), and the friends who have posted above are begging you to stay.

Still, it's your choice, leave if you feel you have to, but from what I see, the reasons for you leaving still need to be justified.
