I am guilty of using GIMP to make these sigs...I know, Photoshop might be better and all, but it's just so hard to get used to. I'll be able to use it in the future, but for now I'm just using GIMP.

    Wow I like this. :3
The smudging around the focal is well done and I like how you made the entire v1 look like flames/ember around her. Great job.

In v2 I like how you changed up the positioning of the rendered image. As for the effects, they don't stand out as much as they do in v1. It almost looks as if they are a bit more cloudy than the first. I can see the text well, but the use of the same color looks a bit bland in my opinion. I can see though that you were going for the golden colors so it's fine.

Don't feel guilty for using GIMP. These are really good for not having used Photoshop. To be honest I think GIMP is more complicated. x3 I can't wait to see you try some tags on PS. Great job.

That first one looks very well done. Although the monotone light on the top right looks like a projector. I'd axe it. Otherwise I love it. Something you might want to do on this one is make the flames brighter near the left (or in your perspective, the right) side of the stock so something shines for attention.

The second one looks pretty good too, though it's kind of blurry and the text throws it off. And like the first, lacks any real light (although the first is close at not needing it).

Yes, you guys are right. I was reluctant to use give it any sort of lighting, but mainly because the picture itself was so...bright. And, yes maybe the second one needs a bit of other coloring. Thanks, guys.
