Hey I am just started to watch this Anime and its pretty intresting but also confusing. I am at episode 4 right know I kind of get it. Basically its about Yuji Sakai who finds out he is a torch (a temperoery replacment for erased humans) but he is a special torch called a mistes which contains a treasure inside of him the Hugou (magical objects which can provide special abilities) he meets a flame haze which are fighting the Rienne which are trying to take peoples Hugous and give them to the Eaters Tomugera no something? (lol I can't remember long Japanese names). So know Shana (what Yuji named her after her sword) she has to watch over Yuji so no Rienne can steal his Hougu because its really special. So do I have it right so far? lol If I don't please explain it to me. It seems pretty intresting. I am watching the episodes of myspace. I know there are 24 episodes. There is a sequel that only has 7 episodes out right know. BleachExile puts them up so I know when they come out so I can watch it on myspace. Also can you tell me a site that puts up all the streaming episodes. And wil continue to put up episodes for the sequel till it finishes. I heard good things about this anime so I am watching it. Well just to kill time until Budokai Tenkaichi 3 comes out. lol Who knows I might really like it!
So far, you've got it down. Just to organize some elements: There are two worlds that co-exist together, like two sides of the same coin: World of Guze, and the Real World. Kings of Guze Flame Hazes Guze no Tomogara Rinne Torch Mystes Kings of Guze are powerful beings that form contracts with people and make them Flame Hazes. Each Guze King has a specific Flame Haze whom which they create. Ex. The Guze King, Flame of Heaven, Alastor; whomever he contracts with becomes the Flame-Haired, Red-Eyed Hunter (currently Shana). Ex. The Guze King, Illusion Crown; whomever she contracts with becomes the Manipulator of Objects (currently Wilhelmina). Guze no Tomogara are I guess you could say, the archenemies of the Guze Kings and their Flame Hazes as they seek to devour souls--which would upset the balance of the universe. Since it's almost impossible at present to prevent souls from being devoured at present, Flame Hazes utilize what are called Torches. Torches are 'left-overs' of existence from a soul that was eaten, and are created as a 'replacement' for the person who was erased from the universe as a way to buffer the imbalance that takes place. They slowly wither away as their time runs out, but this is a slow process which eases the shock-effect of imbalancing the cosmos. Mystes are Torches who so-happened to land upon Hougu (which Full002) already explained. These torches obtain special powers and are thus seeked by Tomogara to capture. I'll leave that as it is for now since you're not that far into it. Most you probably already knew, I'm just affirming.
Oh okay. Thanks man! So the Tomogara are the bad guys because they devouring souls which would mess up eveything. The Flame Haze are their to stop them. Pretty interesting. I finished episode 4 I don't get why Margery is fighting Shana! Their both Flame Hazes! Is it because Margery wants to kill the Tomogara (Which is Frigon right?) Also what about my other question for finding a site with the episodes
Despite having the same goal, Flame Hazes are not allies definitively. They work independently and have their own methods, their own philosophies, their own beliefs. Thus, Margery doesn't feel any sense of kinship (as of now anyway) with Shana and feels no obligation to cooperate with her--since for the most part, all Flame Hazes will feel their way is the best one. This changes throughout the series, however. The occupation of "Flame Haze" is probably along the same organizational level as hired assassins, or private investigators; they aren't allies, but they essentially do the same thing--just how they do it is different. As for episodes... not to sure, I downloaded the series when it was still airing in Japan, so I don't know where they might be right now. I'm sure you can find a torrent of it somewhere if you google it.
Oh ok. Right know I am at episode 12 those Tomugara siblings freak me out! So right know the plot is that both Shana and Yuki are protecting the world from the tumrgara because if they got Yuki's Hugou they would destroy everything. Will the plot become more then just that? Also does shana come from another world Called Guzu?
The overall goal of Tomogara is to devour souls--and collecting Hougu is obviously a very good way to empower themselves further. Yuuji contains a particularly special Hougu (which I won't name since I don't know if you've already been introduced to what it is) that is pretty well-wanted by Tomogara everywhere. Thus, Shana discerns that it might be in her best interest to keep an eye on Yuuji since it's likely that many Tomogara will come looking for him because he has that particular Hougu. So to repeat, Yuuji's Hougu is *not* the overall goal of Guze no Tomogara; but the events that unfold because of his Hougu is how the story is going to be told (a la 'journey of Shana and Yuuji). As for the plot itself; it's much more complex than what the first season will get into. There's a whole bunch of huge events that happen in the novels that I'm hoping the 2nd season will cover, but I won't spoil the plot for you. All I will say is that Yuuji becomes one very powerful dude at some point in the novels. The anime isn't there yet, but the 2nd season begins Yuuji's development in much greater detail. Even the first season leaves out some very big details regarding Yuuji's development, and I was a little disappointed that they left those details out, but I'm at least hoping the 2nd season will delve into the novel's events more closely. And yes, Shana comes from the world of Guze. She's lived for hundreds of years already, as have many of the other Flame Hazes.
So at least I got the plot right.Then Yuuji's Hougou (forgot its name has the power to regenerate its power at twelve) Isn't the Temorgura's main goal? Its devouring the world right? Also do you mean Shakugan No Shana Second as in the second season? First of all Shakugan No Shana has 24 episodes then it continues in Shakugan No shana Second which so far has 8 episodes right? Where can I be informed of the episode releses?
Yuuji's Hougu is called Reiji-Maigo (Midnight Lost Child), and yeah, it's not their main goal, but getting Hougu makes Tomogara stronger so getting them is advantageous. And yeah, when I say 2nd season, I'm referring to Shakugan no Shana Second, and yes it has 8 eps out so far. There are many blogs that have taken up Shakugan no Shana Second, but you could try Baka-Updates to be informed of new releases.
Ok what episode do you figure out their main goal? Also do they ever go to the land Guzu? The Fezustu is a time-stop thing so when they are fighting the Rienne or Tomagura nobody would notice? Also I hearing stuff abotu Crimsion Densisines or something I heard they are trying to diss order the world? The objective changes many times throughout the series, and it's still changing in the novels even now, so I couldn't really generalize it in one phrase or sentence for you. Just know that Tomogara don't mean well and will always be the enemy of the Flame Hazes. Once you hear the term "Balle Masque", that's when the plot starts getting complicated (i.e. more interesting). As of now, they don't go to Guze World, ever. Fuzetsu is sort of like a 'Kekkai' (barrier) except it's on the same plane of existence as the real world, meaning that any damage done to the surroundings (people included) will be sustained. This is why Flame Hazes use power of existence to repair damage to the environment and create Torches for any people who perished before, during, and after these fights before lifting the spell. 'Crimson Denizens' is the English Adaptation for Guze no Tomogara. They're one and the same. It's not confirmed if the second season will be the last season, but at present there is no third season planned. But anything can happen, as the second season wasn't confirmed until some time after the first season ended.
Ok then. Also Unrestricted spells are spells they use in battle right. So I got the plot right nothing to worry about. I hope someone uploads the episodes on youtube or at least myspace lol. I also heard there is a movie! Should I wait till after watching the first season. Also when I watched the first episode I could tell Shana was going to fall in love with Yuuji lol! Also are the king of Guzue like people or sprits trapped in objects or something? Plus is Yuuji's weapon at the moment Frigons Azure ring? I saw him use it before
The movie is about Friagane and a longer, alternate version of the first season, so it would probably be best to wait until after the first season before watching the movie. Kings of Guze possess too much power of existence to walk the Real World safely. That's why they stay in the Guze world and communicate with their Flame Haze through an artifact that the Flame Haze wear (Shana's is that necklace). The ring Yuuji wears is also a Hougu. All it does is protect the user from any flame-based attack.

So I think I got everything down if I ever have a question I will just watch the show over and over again. This a pretty good anime! I just heard a bad guy talk on episode 14 I think its that woman with so many eyes. I think her name is Bal something. Also how is Yujji Hougou so powerfull? I mean all it does is that it never weathers away so Yuuji never dissappears?
They talk more about it as time goes on (you learn even more things about it in the 2nd season), but the Reiji-Maigo allows a refill of all the power of existence he used up until midnight of the day. In essence, this means Yuuji has virtually an infinite amount of Power of Existence, and that's an incredibly beneficial thing to have. You'll also learn later that the Reiji Maigo has an ability to refill Yuuji's Power of Existence to the highest amount that he's ever had up until that point. You'll learn later why this ability is so powerful.
Oh ok. I heard the word Bal Masque. Let me guess its a orgnization of Guze no Tomurga? I am at episode 17. I am almost done season 1. Also can you tell me when episode 9 of season 2 comes out. Also Power of Existince is like the persons energy and life source right.
