::Shadows of a Distant Memory::

Sora was stunned as Nexus shook his hand.

"Umm..great. Uh...related? Future? Heh, ok then." he said confused.

Sora scratched the back of his head and smiled friendly.

 

"Yeah,I mean explain this,"He pulled out the Oblivion Keyblade,"Explain that!"

 

Sora's eyes widened as he viewed the keyblade. Now Sora actually believed him.

"Wow. Uh....hmmm.....I guess we are related. In some weird time dimensional whatever way." he said with a smile.

 

She folded her arms and sighed.

"Yeah,it looks like it..." she murmured silently,not looking at anyone in particular.

Our town used to tell stories about a 'Chosen One' that comes and restores order to the many different worlds there are.They said that he wielded a large Key: the Keyblade,it was said to be.They said that the last one they had heard of with something like that was a young boy,maybe fourteen.But this Nexun guy doesn't look like anything the stories had said.But Sora... she thought,glancing at the boy.

Who would have thought...the same person I was looking for had somehow come to me.Maybe there's some fate,that led us together.It can't just be a coincidence....It can't...

 

Sora looked over at Sada. She seemed to be in a reverie.

"Uh, sada..? Are you ok?" he asked soliciously.

They were in a dark tunnel leading to who knows where. The heartless were above them trying to get at them.

"You know. I think we should get a move on. It's not safe just standing here while heartless are just a couple of feet above us." he explained.

 

"Huh?" she asked,snapping out of it.

"Y-Yeah,I'm fine..." she said,looking away.She nodded at his suggestion.

"Yeah,we should." she said.There was a portable lamp on a small table and she grabbed it.She flipped a switch,and it turned on.

"I don't know how long this has been down here,so who knows when it'll go out.We better hurry..." she said,leading the way down the tunnel.

Sora followed right behind. Nexus followed right behind Sora. The tunnel was dark and, with the lamp, it made the place less cryptic.

"So umm...how long is this tunnel? I mean, you have been here before...right?" he asked.

 

"...................." she paused,looking down at the cold,hard dirt for the ground.She lowered the lamp,and sighed softly.

"....No....I've never been down here...."

 

Soras' jaw dropped and his eyes widened.

"What?! You've never been here? Darn. Now I'm starting to doubt if there is even an exit.." he replied.

Sora shrugged and sighed heavily.

"Well, no use complaining. On we go!" he said in a cheerful expression.

 

Her head drooped even more as he spoke the first time.

".....No...." she muttered softly.She looked up as he spoke in a cheerful tone.

".......Okay." she replied,and continued to lead the way.

After a few moments of walking,she placed her hand on the dirt wall of the tunnel and stopped.

"Sora...there's something...I want to tell you..."

 

It's kinda dark in here.Snaps fingers and creates a flame."YOu do realize that whatever you tell Sora you're technically telling me."

 

Sora looked up at Sada. He wondered what she was about to tell him.

"You do realize that whatever you tell Sora you're technically telling me." he warned.

Sora smiled. "Heh....maybe you should tell me some other time. That is, if it's personal or something." he said.

 

"......" she was silent for a moment.

"......Okay.I'll tell you later,then..." she said.Then continued to lead the way through the tunnel.

After quite some walking,there was a hole in the roof.It was small,and not large enough for the Heartless to get through.There were stars visable in the sky.After a few more moments,they finally reached outside.

"Wow.Looks like it led to outside of town..." she blinked,amazed.After coming here at age eight,she was never allowed to leave town.City rules.So,she was a little surprised about all that she could see in the night.It was a meadow;green,and soft grass,some with a little bit of dew,and ended beside a beach.The night was cool,and the sky was finally clear.There were a few trees with very strange fruit,one that looks like oranges but tastes much sweeter;or a type of fruit that looks like a lime,only sour,and blue;or an odd type of fruit that didn't really look like much of anything from this planet and it had many colours.And then there was one type of plant that she /did/ recognize.It was yellow,and shaped like a star.Those were in a type of palm tree on the beach,which was next to a dark ocean.Sada sighed,and put out her lamp for now.Saving the energy it needed. :3

 

Sora walked out into the open. There were many trees with rare and unique fruits.

"Wow. It's.....beautiful." he muttered.

 

Sada sighed,and slowly sunk down to the ground until she was sitting in the soft grass.

"Yeah.... It is..." she replied in a soft tone.

 

Sora followed her and sat next to her. He looked at Sada.

"So. What was it that you wanted to tell me?" he asked.

 

"Uhm...." she looked down at the ground.She was a little nervous,and unsure about what Sora thought or how he felt.She was,actually,taking a really big risk.If he did feel the same,hurrah.If not....it could possibly ruin their friendship.That can't happen,now can it? :<

"I..." she forced herself to let out.

"I....Love....you..." she was finally able to say.She looked away from him,unsure of what his reactions will be.

 

Sora looked away as he saw a tree with Paupo fruit hangin from a branch. It was surprising. He even happened to find an apple laying on the ground beside.

"An apple. Nice." he muttered in a low tone as he paid attention on grabbing the apple.

"I....Love....you..." she was finally able to say.She looked away from him,unsure of what his reactions will be.

Sora looked her way, holding the already bitten apple, and swallowed the piece in his mouth.

"Sorry. You say something?" he asked as he took another bite of the apple.

 

Yus,it was surprising.

"Sorry. You say something?" he asked as he took another bite of the apple.

She looked back at him,and leaned back,her arms supporting her while her hands were on the ground.

"I think it might be better if I just show you." she said.She leaned over and gave him a quick little kissu on teh cheek,before she looked away again.

 

Sora felt her lips touch his cheek. It was surprising. He almost choked on the apple when she gave him a kiss.

"*cough, cough, cough* Wh-what...? You...just....k-kissed me?" he asked a little embarrassed.

It was a lot to take in. Should he reply the same way? Or just forget it even happened? Kairi...Sada. He never felt that way with Sada until now. Though, now...he might think differently. Does he love Sada or Kairi?

Love. It's a mysterious thing indeed.
