::Shadows of a Distant Memory::

Sora took a step back and leaned against the boulder as his body skid against it until he landed on the floor. His eyes were still locked with Sada's.

"Sada..... Your name sounds so familiar. Maybe...that's why...." he muttered.

 

She watched as he stepped back;as he leaned against the boulder and slid down.She stepped towards him,and kneeled down in front of him.Her eyes met his,and didn't look away.

"Sora...." she said softly.She reached into a pouch that was clipped to her belt with her unburned hand,and pulled something out.

"Do you..." she said.She handed it to him.

"...Remember this?" It was a simple necklace,with a pearl-white shell as its jewel.Yet,in the right Light,a rainbow could be ellimunated from the shell.

 

Sora took hold of the necklace and viewed it. It sparkled a little and he saw a rainbow emit from the shell. He gasped as this happened.

"I-I remember. This is the necklace I gave to a girl who used to live in my town. We used to hang around the island with Riku. We played and had lots of adventures. But, one day she had to leave. I don't know why." he explained.

"My mom told me I was to little to understand, but, I remember crying that day. I felt sad. Riku even tried to cheer me up but in vain..." he said.

Sora looked at Sada straight in the eye and finally saw that she was that very same girl from before.

"Sada... It's been a while... hasn't it?" he asked in a friendly tone.

 

She nodded as he explained what he remembered.A bright smile appeared on her face.She couldn't contain the excitement,and leaned forward and hugged him.

"It has....But now I found you...and you found me....We're together again...." she said.That only left Riku now...

 

Sora hugged her back. Yet, he still felt slightly confused. He still affections for Kairi. So, what will he do.

"Yeah.... We are..... " he said a little unsure.

 

Although Sora probably couldn't see it,her smile had faded.Her eyes were half-way open again.Now that she had found him,she didn't want to let go. Sada didn't know Kairi,or how Sora felt about her. If she only knew. She would be so Heart-Broken...

 

Sora got up and released his hug.

"Alright. We better lock this keyhole." he said.

Sora summoned his keyblade, turned aroun, and pointed it at the large hole. Light emitted from the key and then a ray of light shot out from the tip. It pierced the hole and a gears shifting noise could be heard. Sora tunred bacl around and faced Sada.

"Alright. Now we gotta find a way out of here, before the heartless return." he announced.

 

She let go of hers,as well.Hesitant,at first.She stood up,and backed away a few steps for Sora to do his job.She watched as he sealed the Keyhole.

'The stories....they're all true...' she thought.

"R....Right...." she replied,nodding once.

 

He too nodded at her. Right after his nod, shadows appeared from nowhere. Sora looked around gave out a heavy sigh.

"Not again... " he sadi disappointed.

"Alright, Sada. I'll hold them off while you go and find a safe spot." he explained.

Sora got ready for battle.

 

Sada looked around them.The Shadows have come back.

"B-But..." she stuttered,not wanting to leave him.Not again.She understood his concerns,however.And she hesitently ran off to find a safe spot.She did;it was right next to them.It was her burned house.For some reason,before the Shadows didn't go anywhere near this place.She wondered why.And then she found it: a trapdoor in the floor.

"Sora! Over here!" she said,waving.She had already opened it.

 

Sora managed to slice at least 5 away. Sada called him over.

"Alright." he said as he ran towards her, slashing at a few shadows in the process.

He arrived next to her and signaled her to get in first. After, he cast a fireball at one of the closing in shadows. Then, he jumped in right after her, making sure he closed the trapdoor in the process.

 

She ran in,after his signal.It suddenly grew very Dark after he shut the door.But then a Light came on.In the room there was a lot of stuff that seemed very familiar to her.Pictures,a few stuffed animals,and the like that would belong to a little girl.

"This is...all my stuff..." she said,wondering what they were doing down here.She spotted a picture at her feet,and bent down to pick it up.It was kind of old,maybe nine years old.There were three kids in it,on an Island.One had white hair,and the other two had brown.One was a girl,and the other two were boys.

"This is us..."

 

"AHH...A black Star!I've gotta find Sora!"He created a portal and landed in front of Sora.

 

She blinked,seeing someone,Nexus,appear out of nowhere.

"Who-..." she began to say.

 

"Umm...Hi.I'm Nexus.Do you know where a guy named Sora is.Sora, got it memorized?"

ooc:He looks like Axel in Sora's KH2 outfit.

 

sora walked to where the noise was coming from and said "Did someone say my name?" he asked.

"Who are you?" he questioned the mysterious man with a similar outfit to his own.

 

"SORA!My name is Nexus.It's a pleasure to meet you.I worship the walk you ground on.I mean'worship the walk on the ground!I mean You're my idol!"

 

She blinked,having no idea who the heck this 'Nexus' guy was.

"Excuse me.If you don't mind me asking...How'd you get here?And what are you doing here?" she asked.She thought that nobody knew about this place except for her and Sora...and they only just now recently found this out.

 

"I am Nexus.A Genetic Warrior from the year 2222.Acctually in a way...Sora and I are related."shrugs.

 

She raised an eyebrow as he explained who he was.It seemed a little too....weird to her.

"Um,nevermind then..." she said,and looked back at the photo she held in her hand.
