Shadow of the Avatar

Roku smiled when he saw the girl sit down. "Very nice to meet you Mya. My name's Roku leader of the Pro-Bending team the Kolau Komodo Rhinos or at least I was" he laughed."You live in the city long?" He heard the weird guy screaming about the noodles and he was giving them a strange look. "Ok whats his problem? He also saw 2 more girls walk in. Roku looked back towards Mya and smiled again trying not to choke on his noddles or look like a fool.

 

She nodded. "Yea. Well I wasn't born here. I was born in the Earth Kingdom Capitol, but I ran away to Republic city because my parents were too passive with me. Anyways, enough of me. Kolau Komodo Rhinos? I'm a big fan of you guys! It's a shame you lost at the semi-finals. I really rooted for your team to move on." She ate her noodles a bit more. "How about you? You lived here or were you from somewhere else?"

 

Roku ate a bite of his noddles knowing she didn't want to talk about it. "Haha thanks I think your are number 1 fan." He smiled and then said "Yup my parents were from the fire nation but I was born here with my sister". His smile faded away "She was really sweet but she's gone now in a better place thanks to those so called shadow benders". He was of course talking about the fallen shadows Republic City attack. He clenched his fist and then smiled again "So now it's just me I was thinking about going back to the fire nation but with their lawn ownership problems they are having right now. So i'm stuck here for a while which might not be so bad" he said as he looked at Mya.
Miaodao kept moving through the city passing many shops. He heard rumors but only rumors. Nobody seemed to have one good piece of information. He sat next to a fountain and looked at the city.

 

"We weren't born here either" said Nera, queitly. " "We were born far to the North," Fotia said.
Nera blinked and her eyes came back to the present. "Forgive us. We're twins, from near the north pole. I'm Nera and that's Fotia." "We to have experience with Shadow Bending. " Fotia said, bitterly. With that they went up to buy some noodles.

 

The firebender stopped at the entrance of a cheap noodle shop. She had been traveling with Kuki for a long time and finally they were here at Republic City.

When I am done, pro-bending won't know what hit them.

thought the fierce firebender. She had a smirk on her lips. Unfortunately, though her teammates were a little help back due to....reasons... That was the only reason why Azar Kasai had a twisted gut feeling...that and she was hungry.

"Are we going to eat here Azar?" Asked the smaller whitenette. She looked to the noodle shop and felt her stomach growl. Kuki Kumo was friends with the noble Azar since they were young kids. It was Kuki who begged to come with her firebending friend, not for pro-bending, oh god no, she wasn't that type of person...she wanted to talk to the air monks on air temple island. She was an airbender herself and she knew no one like her, being the only airbender on an island of firebenders....

"Yep, looks like its good, and cheap too." Azar said and moved the curtain like doors. It smelled good, and Azar held back the urge to smile at the smell. She had to look fierce, she was in Republic City not her home where people feared her authority because of her family name and who her family was, no this time she was going to make a name for herself!!! The firebender walked in, her violet eyes scanning the room, her pouty red lips pursed slightly as she looked for a table. She found one by a group that were talking about pro-bending, at least that what her ears caught.


Might as well get to know that competition while I'm here.

Azar walked across the room, making eye contact with the man that said he was apart of the team. She gave him a coy smirk and flipped her thick black dreads over her shoulder. She sat down and looked to Kuki who looked shy and cute as always.

Kuki just followed in. She looked around in curiosity, she looked at each of the people in the shop. They looked all different. it was because they came from so many different places!! It was exciting.

Maybe I'll meet another airbender!! Oh that would be truly amazing!!

The quiet female took her seat in front of Azar and looked at the menu in front of them.

 

Mya nodded and sat back. "It's hard to cope with death. Especially ones that you love." She would've talked more, but it would make them feel uncomfortable so she decided to drop it. "Anyways, you'll love it here, minus the creeps." She quickly glanced at the creepy hooded man before smiling cheerfuly back at him. "So...as of Korra, there hasn't been a new Avatar as we know. Wonder who he or she is? I know it's an Earthbender since after water is earth."

 

"Nice to meet both of you" he said to the twins. Roku smiled "maybe it's you Mya the avatar has a nice ring to it. Wish it was me but i'm a firebender and beggars can't be choosers. At least I have the name of an avatar." He laughed a little "the avatar will show up when we need him or her. These shadow-benders are just a menace not a threat to the world." He looked towards the girl who was starring at him earlier. She looked like a firebender could she be an another pro-bender? He smiled and then turned back to Mya, Nera and Fotia. He ate another bite of food and then said "If I still have a team by the time the next season starts. I will give all 3 of you tickets". He laughed and looked around the shop, it seemed like they had all types of people here.

 

OOC: Oh derp I didn't knew the twins were talking to us >_<

BIC: Mya let out a small laugh."You really think it could be me? If that was true, the world better pray I die soon. I have no Avatar like qualities." She finished her bowl and sat back."Assuming you could find a new team. Anyways, how bout I show you newcomers around town? There are many things to see here in the grand place of Republic City."

 

OOC: Gee, Thanks.

BIC: "It would be kind of you to show us around town. Do you know of any place we could stay cheaply? Preferably clean as well." Nera said. "To bad I'm a firebender and not an earthbender, or we could form a team with you," Fotia said queitly, speaking her thoughts aloud as she usually did.

BIC: Mya stood up, placing a few gold coins on the table."Now if you will guys, please follow me out. We'll have a quick tour of the grand province of Republic City. Stay close now. Don't wanna lose you guys and look all over." She led the 3 out of the noodle house and into the heart of the city.

 

OCC: GOTTA GO BATTERY DYING!

BIC: The twins follow carefully, the ominous feeling still heavy on their minds.

 

Kuki and Azar got their bowls of noodles and ate.

Azar listened in on the people beside them conversation. The Avatar? Hmm it should be around the time for the cycle to begin. she thought, remembering all those long and dreaded studies her parents made her take.

After their meal the 2 benders stood up. Azar leaving some coins and walking out.

"So to Air Temple Island?" Kuki asked excited. Maybe the Avatar could be there! she thought.

"Yeah. I know its close to the Pro-Bending Arena. So when you get across I can head over there." Azar said as they walked down the busy streets of Republic City.

 

The twins walked around in wonder as the saw Republic City for the first time. Paved Streets! Thousands of Shops! The place, was simply put, Amazing.

 

Mya smiled, seeing how the twins were very excited and amazed by the sights in Republic City."It's an amazing place isn't it? A place where all of the 4 nations can live and merge together. Well..." She looked back towards the docks and looking at Air Temple Island before looking back at the twins."Except the Air benders. Their numbers are still quite small so they still live on the island under the protection of the city council. They can come and live here once they have enough people."

 

BUMPING POWERS ACTIVATE! HELLO!!!!!! PEOPLES OF THE RP!!!! COME BACK!! *blows whistle* COME BACK!!!

 

I'd love to, but some peeps aren't responding...thus stalling the plot of the RP -_-

 

If nobody responds, I am gonna start a fan fic about this and approve it with Heartless_angel.
