Well think about the circumstances you will have to wait a month for this game but if he wanted his own gaming system he would have to wait years but it is up to you hope this helps

Well doesn't he have his own game systems?
I mean, it's nice and all, but that's yours and you're better off saving up for a NEW psp for your cousin after you get the game. That's what I would do.

If you really care for him, you would send it. Nothing is worth the happiness you give them. It's the most precious moment in life knowing you made someone's life more enjoyable.

I'd probably end it since the you say you won't be able to get the game for another month anyway. You have more of a chance to save up to purchase a new PSP and though you might have to wait to play the game for a little longer, you'll be compensated later. You can always get 'back games' as well so it won't hurt you too bad to wait a bit longer. It's not like Dissidia won't be out on shelves for some time.

It's a very nice thing to do, to send your cousin the game stuff you have. I'm sure he greatly appreciates it. Quite a few people wouldn't even bother to do such a thing though the choice is there in front of them. If it wasn't for the fact, I know you could get the game Dissidia anytime after, I'd say to wait and get the game, play it, and then send the PSP and game after you were done. But since you are able to acquire the game later, it can work either way. Good luck to you and either way, you're really doing a good thing here.

Is your father contributing too? Or is he just expecting you to send all of your things?

It is difficult because if you don't send it people will call you selfish and ****, but if you do send it I think it is a bit unfair for you to be pushed into giving up your belongings.

Choosing to give something, whilst a very good thing should be your own choice and not as a result of being pushed. I also think it is unfair for people to imply that if you don't send it then you don't care about him.

Whatever you decide to do, just make sure it is your own decision <3 good luck dear.

Personally, I'd keep it. I'm selfish like that.

I wouldn't honestly give anything, but hey, you want to, so I'll try and help.

Are your parents sending their best clothes, and shoes they still use? I doubt it. I imagine they are sending the things they have already used, or stuff specifically bought to give away. Why should you give away something you still use? The PSP is still current generation! You have no moral obligation. In fact, you could feasibly just give more gameboy games, or buy a second hand PSP/DS and give that instead.

I don't know you. You may be different to me. I'm looking at it from my perspective, and I would really prefer to keep my psp.

I didn't know used shoes and clothes compared to like what, a $200 psp? (I have no idea what they cost) I know it sounds selfish, but you probably gave him your gameboy because you really didn't need it. I know he's like dirt poor and stuff, but I myself don't get a ton of nice stuff, better then some, but a lot worse than most the people I know. I'm on the free lunch list at school because we can't afford it. But I still get by with what I've got, and it's even out dated stuff especially my computer. And besides, it's not like your cousin is begging you to give him your stuff.

It may sound selfish, but I wouldn't.
I'm totally siding with Pika on this one.

well u have no idea wat its like to be poor
i only had one pair of shoes with a hole so my toes could stick out
lucky hes not at that level but hes my cousin and i love him and he'll like it more than me
he's never even played one before plus he cant buy it there but i can save up and get another one

they are sending new cloth and have spent over $1,000 and no we are not rich but it its our fmily and they would do the same for us
but he probably doesnt even kno wat a PSP is so id rather give it to him and if anythin save for a new one
we are not talkin about some random kid that i've never met
it my cousin that i kno and we are close and use to hang out a lot wen i was there

Yes, I have no clue what it's like to be poor, hungry or without shelter. You seem to. But answer me this: If you were at the stage of having only tattered shoes, and your cousin's family was never at that stage, why are you the ones to be helping out them? You don't sound that much better off.

You seem pretty set on your choice. I doubt anything we said could persuade you. In any case, I am glad that you have come to a decision, even though it would not be the choice I would personally make.

The good thing is that you have the ability to save up money so I'd just send it since you do. If you didn't, it'd be a different story. If nothing else, if you don't have one by Xmas time, I'd ask for one then. xD
