    Well this is an iffy. I love Atlus and the games they have released the past few years (Catherine, P4 Arena, Demon Souls). I especially adored the Persona series. I do hope a reliable company can help and buy Atlus so they can continue making great games. And a side note, EA STAY THE HELL AWAY FROM ATLUS. I don't want some western company (well a badly pictured one) tarnishing the ideals of a Japanese company. I prefer another Japanese company to buy them, but if it has to be done, a reliable western company could buy them off as well.

    UHH... REALLY SCARED RIGHT NOW...

    Like I'd honestly rather a no-name buy them out than have a console, triple-A, or western company take control. Too much potential for dangerous influence.

    How do you figure?

    I don't think it really matters what nationality buys them. There are as many meddlers on both sides of the ocean. It's just a question of how much oversight their buyer demands.

    I'm guessing because most people associate Square and Sony with RPGs
    It's not the most solid reasoning, but it's not without merit

    Anyways, I'm worried about this. Atlus never was the most profitable company...

    Either square to make more money, or Sony to make sure they're an inhouse dev. And it wouldn't matter which one picked them up either, cause as soon as the would do that, they'd just leave Atlus alone to do what they do....i mean hell Index just bought the domain for Persona 5.jp
