Seekers

Kiara walked down the cave, seeing it get darker and darker. She kept walking until she made it to the end of the tunnel like area. She walked to a large rock room that was huge, with a large deep hole in the middle. She looked down and shuddered.
"Creepy," she thought. She turned around and headed back. She went into the dark tunnel once more to go back. She looked around, then accidentally walked into a spiderweb. She saw one onher shirt and let out a loud scream.

 

While Revan was waling around, he heard a loud shriek. He didn't know if he could hear it because of his werewolf abilities or if someone was nearby. Either way, he could'nt ignore it. He swung his cane over his shoulder and tried to follow where the scream came from when he stopped in front of a cave.

"Another one? How many caves are in this forest?", he thought with a sigh.

He kept walking in, leaving a tight grip on his cane just in case something was going to happen. The cave got darker the more he walked, so it was harder for him to see where he was going. Eventually, he tripped over his own foot and fell on his face.

"What am I doing down here?!", he yelled in an irritated tone.

 

Kiara ran the other way, back to the large room, shaking off the spiderweb, not paying attention where she was going. She made it to the large room and ran around the large hole. She shook the web off and stopped on the ledge. She found the spider and screamed again throwing it off her. As she moved, the rock broke causing her to fall over to edge. She quickly grabbed onto a rock after falling some feet.

 

Revan's wiped the dirt off his fac when he heard the same scream later on. He go up, wiped the dirt off his legs and swung his cane over his shouder. "Yeah, yeah. I'm coming."

He was taking his steps more carefully, not wanting to fall on his face again. Eventually, he walked into a weird room with a giant hole on the floor. Not seeing the hole because of the darkness, he stepped his right foot in there and would've fallen in if he hadn't opened his cane and stabbed his sword into the ground in the last second.

"Whoa!", he yelled as he stepped back from the hole. He slowly looked down, but he could barely see anything.

"Is anybody down there?", he yelled.

 

Kiara heard someone at the top of the hole. Tears streamed down her face and she clenched on close to the rock, about 10 feet down.
"Yes!" she managed to yell back, hearing her echo.

 

Revan was a bit surprised. He didn't actually expect to get a response. But, as things were, he looked around for something he could use. "Don't worry, I'll get you up....somehow...."

He checked his pockets and found some cloth that he uses for bandages. He tried tying them together and came up with a 7 ft. rope. He looked down and figured that he'd need something a bit longer.

"Well, I don't see much of an option, so here it goes...."

He pulled his belt out of his pants and tied the bandages to the buckle. He pulled on them a bit to see if they would hold, and everything looked in check. He opened his cane and stabbed the rope deep into the ground with his sword. He looked down into the hole and gulped. If the rope gave in before he could get back up......he didn't want to think about it.

He let out a deep breath and slowly climbed his way down the hole, using his cane to get some footing. He looked around to see any signs of a person when he spotted something hanging off the wall. He figured it might as well be her since there wasn't much of a chance that anything else would last down here.

"Are you alright?", he asked as he came closer.

 

Kiara tilted her head up to see if she could see him. She nodded.
"Yeah, I'm just a bit scratched up," she said, her voice seemingly showing signs of terror. She put her foot on a stuck out rock and tried to pull herself up more so he wouldn't have to come all the way down.

 

Following her voice, Revan carefully moved to the side to try and get next to her. He looked up to see how far it was from the top, and it looked like a good 1o feet. Hopefully, the rope would last long enough. He slowly scaled down the rock when he saw her. He slowly side-stepped to her.

"Okay, climb on my back.", he said.

 

She nodded and looked down to make sure that the rock could support her. She stood on it and it broke. She quickly grabbed the same rock she was still hanging on.
"Ahh, I can't. I'm too scared," she said. She looked down once more to see that she broke enough rock for another place that she could step. She took a deep breath and tried once more. She put her foot there and slowly got on his back, holding on so that she wouldn't discomfort Revan, and so that she could hang on.

Letting out a deep breath, Revan nodded and slowly started climbing up the rock. He figured that it would be smooth sailing, since climbing up would be easier than climbing down. After a few minutes, he finally reached the top. He climed out the edge of the hole and let out another deep breath.

"There you go.", he said. His voice sounded a bit exasperated and out of breath. "You okay?"

 

She nodded, still a little frightened of speaking. She let out another sigh and wiped her eyes as she climbed off his back.
"T-thank you," she said, her voice seemingly shattered.

Revan untied the rope and put his belt back on. "Hey, it's no problem.", he said. He picked up his sword and put it back in his cane. "Try to relax, you're safe now...."

When he lifted his head to look at her, he recognized from earlier." Hey, aren't you that girl from before?", he asked

 

She looked up and noticed he did look familiar.
"Yeah, I remember you. I asked if you saw my friend," she said remembering. She tried to look around to see where the other tunnel was to go back to Santeria. She even almost felt herself drop down the hole again but she jumped back quickly and fell backwards laughing nervously as she was a little off balanced

"I think this big room here connects tunnels and caves," she said standing back up.

 

Revan flinched when Kiara was about to fall back in, but let out a sign of relief when she got her balance. He listened to what she said about the tunnels, then rubbed his chin.

"Basically, this place is a huge tunnel network. But for what?", he wondered. He looked at the wall around the hole and there definetly were tunnel ways all over the place.

 

"I was talking to Santeria about it. She said that the tunnels can change course somehow, and if lead the right way, it will show a way to a temple of Orbs. But it can only be found if a werewolf and vampire work together," she said. She looked around and noticed she'd forgotten which tunnel lead back to her.
"I think I might be lost. I would take you to go talk to her. She knows more about the tunnels that I do," she said.

 

Kei woke up, some how he had fell asleep and realised Kiara had gone missing, "about the orbs, i'll help you later, i just need to do something." He pulled out a piece of chalk and drew a vampire clan mark, before heading off down the cave, every few minutes he drew the mark and a arrow pointing towards Santeria. He clicked his tongue and listened to the echoes, "woah, so many tunnels." he whispered to himself.

Kaori bandaged her hand up before walking down the cave for no reason, she saided whistleing again.

 

Santeria stood up, using the wall for support. She walked a little deeper and into the darker parts of the cave. She could hear alot of noises and was easily frightened. She could only think of the time of the ambush, and it haunted her memory

 

Revan tapped his cane/sword on the ground, thinking of something to do. He didn't know which way to get out from, and picking any random tunnel to go through was just stupid.

"Do you know how to get out of here?", he asked her

 

Kiara pulled a pendant out of her pocket that was half of a heart with green vines sketched around it. She pointed it towards each tunnel until it glowed at a certain one.
"That tunnel right there," she said pointing at the one a few tunnels over. She put the pendant back in her pocket.
"I keep this handy in case me and Santeria ever get lost from each other," she said.
