Kingdom Hearts Seeing other Worlds...on a Raft?

You know what's funny? They all had boats and yet they think it's a good idea to make a raft from scratch. Why not, if anything, use the rope and tie the boats together? That just shows the lack of common sense that they had.

 

I love repliku's explanation, it makes more sense.

 

Lolz, maybe they thought that even their boats together were too small?

Anyway, isn't it amazing that all the food they'd bring would be fish and coconuts?

 

It's all nieveaty (if that's how to spell it....or a word O_o.....). lol What about storms?

 

America is a different land to Africa, but one could say the two places are "worlds" apart. In a way, other lands can be viewed as being different worlds. There is nothing to say that they meant world in the literal sense of being another planet.

Think about the fact that within disney stories, the events usually take place in "worlds" that are seperate to one another, there has never been a link between the world of Beauty and the Beast (France), and that of The Little Mermaid (...uh somewhere in the sea D:? ). For sure one could make the assumption that they are taking place in the same world, but its never clearly stated.

Or to relate it more specifically to KH, as someone else has already said, Greece and China, both exist in the same world (Earth), but can be viewed as belonging to different worlds as they literally are in KH.

As for thinking they could escape on a raft, I think that can also be understood to be honest, I know I am running the risk of patronising some of you, but I remember when I was that age, and the thought of running away from home and from life seemed such an easy, easy thing to do. You don't think of the greater consequences and what will happen past escape.

...I really hope that made sense, it made sense before I typed it.

 

What I LOL at is that not only did they intend on sharing ONE bottle of water for the entire trip... did they cook the fish? At all? xD Cause you have to take off all the nasty scales, and then there's the whole eating it raw thing... not that I have anything against sushi but... they're on a raft, it's presumably out in the sun... I smell food poisoning. XDDD

 

I know this has already been said in different ways but...

maybe the different ''worlds'' they talked about were actually other Islands?

I mean.. It kinda makes sense and they had no way of knowing any better~

and it half explains the bottle thing too...
If it were indeed other Islands.. they would either get there rather soon-ish or in their naivity expected to be picked up by some boat while crossing the ocean...

I wondered this myself, but of course they didn't know better. And, like Amethyst Grave said, it is possible that the were likely to be referring to the "worlds" as islands.

 

Looking at the gummi ship and the whole traveling-through-space part of the game, I would say that they took the "different worlds" seriously. Otherwise, you don't need to go into space to get from Africa to America.

My sister drew something like that lol. The first panel shows them setting sail, then a week later they came back starving and one person less lol XD!!!
