"Madeline." Casey said looking upwards thoughtfully. "Yeah, I like it."

Elle was sat at the kitchen table with Jamei, who was wide awake now. She was hugging the little girl as she played with a teddy bear that Elle had brought along.

"I don't really know. I'm bad with names, sorry."

Elle's eyes widened again and her cheeks flushed. "H-Heya..." She replied after a moment.

Jamei looked up at her mother, her bright green eyes looking thoroughly confused.

 

"Hmmmm Mitchelle? no...Masen....no doesnt sound right....Michael?"she asked

"Oh."he said seeing the little girl"This must be Jamei...Ly told me about her"

 

"Michael." Casey nodded. "Michael Malfoy. I like it."

"Ye-yeah..." Elle nodded. "This is her."

Jamei looked up at the strange man that had just appeared. She tilted her head slightly as she decided if she liked him or not. Then a smiled crossed her tiny face and she waved happily to the new man. "HAI!" She exclaimed.

 

"Michael Casey Malfoy "she corrected "I want him to have his daddy's name too"she smiling ruffing Casey's hair

"She cute Elle,"he said "Hiya."

"Yeah, she is." Elle smiled, stroking Jamei's hair.

"What do you mean?" Elle asked, tilting her head in a manner not dissimilar to how her daughter had done a few minutes earlier.

 

"Arent you with her dad?"


"Hmm....Im Hungry again"


"when are you not?"he asked,eyes glued to the tv screen,he seemed to be enoying the kiddie cartoon

 

Elle shook her head. "No, I'm not."

"She says she doesn't know who the father is." Conni chipped in as she walked past. "And then she's been single the last two years." She added on before disappearing out of the room.

"Why don't you go get some food Ly?" Casey suggested. "And you're one to talk about eating like a horse Jor-Jor."

 

"You dont know?"he said looking confused


"I will...I feel like something meaty...hope grandma's got something she muttered heading into the kitchen


"I dont eat like a horse Casey.."he said "and its Jor-dan not Jor-Jor"

 

"Well... That's not exactly true. But I don't think you'd be interested in knowing..."

"No, it's Jor-Jor. Jor-Jor Binks. Isn't that right Cory?"

"C'mon Cory....I'll put you upstairs."Lyra said coming back

"I think he just found some more energy." Casey chuckled
