alright, i'm a little long winded but i think i have some good theories with a couple interesting points to show. Be sure to read it
all!! and i'll be editing this as more people reply and offer some good insights to KHIII....

EDIT for Nov. 3: I'm getting a lot of good feed back from people on this thread so i have decided to Update this post

    And here we go
Right when the camera pans the view of the cross paths of keyblades till the last sentence: "Birth by sleep" - is the focus of this thread....And so i will begin.

It's obivous some kind of battle took place (maybe that's why they're in a desert, cause the battle destroyed the land), but the reasons for the battle are unclear...the only hint of motive we have for such a massacre is the exert from the ansem Report that states the two legends of the origins of the keyblade. One Good...One Evil...

But then - if a battle took place in this area...why are the hundreds of keyblades staked, in a orderly fashion to form a intersection, into the ground? Why aren't the keyblade randomly thrown tossed to the ground as if their weilders had just fallen? That means the scene that we see depicted before us is after the Keyblade War - what i'm saying is: the crossroads is posibably a memorial sight with it's shape being defined by the Keyblades from the fallen warriors.

After that...we come to the view of a distant figure - who appears to be walking toward the group of the unknown three. Now, to be completely honest - that silouette of the figure, seems to have a female shape to her body... I know... my first thought was "Male...it's a Male..." but i as i watch it more and more, it be that it's very far away...but it seems to have more curves than a male...
But serious now, why would that figure be walking to a group of three armored & armed keblade weilders? the figure could possibably be a guide to somewhere - OR - the figure is coming to the group to fight them...but if you watch closely there is no urgency in the silouette's pace; s/he is just taking his/her sweet little time to meet the other three....

Afterwards, we see the phrases flash onto the screen:

    Master of Keyblade
I don't think this refers to the best person who can weild a keyblade, but refers more to the very first Chosen One by the Keyblade - i mean, if the keyblade can choose...we can determine that theoridically it could think...and maybe we could even lean towards the fact that the keyblade can WAIT...
Thus: the very first person to become the Keyblade Weilder was a product of Keyblade's ability to assess the good in a heart; achieved by Keyblade's patience to wait and choose a rightful weilder. Did that make sense?

    The lost two

This is very general - it could mean a variety of things: two lost worlds, two lost Keyblades, two lost memories, two lost hearts, two lost pennies....but my personal favorite is two lost people. I don't have musch to say on this one...i'll have to continue when i have more insight from people who reply.

    Memory of Xehanort
Alright this is very self expanitory - the next game will most likely have memories from Xehanort...i believe a couple from his distant past (chilhood, growing up, etc.) and a main focus on the research of the heart he did with Ansem the Wise till the time he turned into a heartless and nobody.

    Chasers

Extremely general - you guys will have to help me out on this one....all i can say about is: people who chase...BLAH

Finally, i have some ideas from you guys on this topic...
This is actually a pretty good idea on the purpose of the Chasers i think, there is a motive to complete their task...amd in the end - they would be Famous; considered legends because only they can weild KeyBlades

Ah...here's another good idea - Nobodies are the body, heartless hold the heart (despite their name), and so Chasers must be the soul, a "floating wisp" - they want what the other 2 parts want, to be whole again

Here's something knew! the Chasers are now the forgers of fake Keyblades...Feyblade lol. It's an original theory...but i personally cannot see that happening.

    Keyblade War
Pretty straight forward here....there was or there will be a war! People will die and blood will inevitably fall....that's what war is - it's not pretty or even a cool things to joke about - War will cause devestation...Its that simple

It all began with - Birth by sleep
THis could possibly suggest the ability to create with the mind - whether it be consious (awake), or in this case unsonsious (sleeping). But this type of creation is most commonly found in Divine beings (God and others). Which could link back to the Master of Keyblade....s/he may have been a Divine Being to be capable creating whatever s/he made - or it may have been the power of the keyblade....

*Jaw agape* That's...I don't no why i never thought of that?! It's so simple, it's just like Xeitr relation to that "WIND FISH" game... It makes perfect sense actually, we constantly see images with our dreams - why wouldn't part of Sora's story happen in the back of his mind...he was asleep for a while...*speechless*

    The order of the games
Xaldin just came up with the most possible theory and it's right here....The text at the very end of the Secret Ending does have meaning but...it may very well be the schedule for the KH games to play out... Roxas said it, "Chasers could be like the in between game, just like CoM."...or something to that effect...
And that must be why they've made Final Mixes for both KHI & KHII; Noramu thought of some really cool stuff that would've been better to place in the original and he doesn't have a clue were to go with the games yet - So he makes the final mix so that he can add the other content that came after the release of the game and he now has time to think about the plot and make an even better, but still mysterious secret ending!

So...go forth my peoples and reply to this message - state what you think, contradict me, agree with me - that's your choice....be sure to have some sort of reasons for thinking the way you do....

And...what did you thin of my analysis? Hmm?

I think the chasers are the knights.....you know like their some sort of detectives or some.....thing....whoa......i think it is.......maybe like this

Chaser are those knights who hunts keyblade wielders all across the world....they hunt them so they will be the only wielders existing.....

and about this figure, i think this maybe the key to the answer.....this figure, this being that walks toward them, maybe exactly something that started the war.....or something that will tell them that the war is not over and this being will go to the future and repeat history/future itself

well i'll post if some theories popped into my head....until then...

Hm, well someone actually gave a pretty good idea what Chasers are. Lets me do the explaining.

So, we all know what happens when somebody loses their heart and body. Heartless and nobodies. (Hey, why didn't you come to the party? I had NOBODY to go with. Oh the wit!)

But what happens to the soul?.....

Ansem the wise mentions the three things that make someone. Heart, body and Soul. So what happens to the soul?

My guess is that Chasers are actually GOOD people. Not attacking people like heartless and nobodies. They're probably some sort of floating wisp that are searching for their heartless and nobodies. I mean, it's not like when somebody loses these three parts, they become evil and are forced to be servants of death. Chasers will probably be neutral, and are only "chasing" their heartless and nobodies in order to become whole again. Samurai out.

    (I respect Tenacious D)

you mean like a nobody....so meaninly....a heartless is losing a heart.....a nobody is the heartless is the heartless but it's missin a body.....and these chasers are exactly good heartless that is losing a soul.....is that what you mean?

Ahh...i see what saamuria is saying - Since it seems heartless and Nobodies are the darkness in a whole person...can we assume that the soul is the good part of the whole being...
Hmmm....That's what it sounds like yur saying - and correct me if i am wrong:
If the soul actually managed to to find his heartless & nobody - he would still be out a heart that was taken from him when he bacame a heartless.....
Unless the soul holds the heart.....

man, the KH2 secret ending is only part of the theories i've come up with. i'm pretty sure KH3 will be set in the past (mainly bc of Xehanort's lost memories being mentioned). the crossroads may even be the same one sora (and even riku) have come to a couple times. that big thing that disappears when the big armored guy steps off of looks like it could b a nobody or something. i agree that THE LOST TWO refers to people more than anything else. CHASERS, mentioned a lot thruout this forum, may be makers of the Keyblade or people who chase others for a specific reason. that last line also has evry1 goin crazy- "It all began with...birth by sleep." i dont kno y, but it kinda reminds me of dreamin. what if some1 dreamt up the idea of the KB, kinda like a vision? i kno, that leads to how did that "vision" evr come to that person, but this is all theory. anyways, the 3 armored persons could b the ancestors of the present day keywielders (Sora, Riku, someone else-Mickey isnt likely). i dont kno if Nomura's the type but the armored people could also die and b reincarnated into those present day wielders. that could explain why certain people can b keywielders. i have a whole lot more to say but i dont have time to post it now and it doesnt jes stick to the KH3 speculation (goes from KH to CoM to KH2). hope u can pick ur brains on that for awhile.

correct me if im wrong but square has done many games where it flipped from pSast to present and back again over and over like the none with seifer and i think it was leon i forgot which one it was but anyways i think itll be like that and chasers by the way can also mean someone who makes or gilds swords (look it up) i think the chasers were the ones that made all the fake keyblades which i call The Chainless Ones and the nobody is made of the body AND soul but i think when the nobody is destroyed i think the soul is released to find its evil half so as to balnce good and evil since when someones destoryed 2 beings of darkness are created one evil dark and one nuetral darkso when the nuetral dark is destroyed something must appear to take its place so as to keep the balance again yen yang and also in zelda there was a game where a giant fish was dreaming an entire world and you didnt realizae you were in its dream till it weoke up and the entire town dissapears so i think either this will all take place in soras mind while hes regaining his memories that he forgets afterwards or maybe the birth by sleep thing is something thats just to throw us off lol

    Actually, here's my own opinion.

With the whole possible fact Nomura hasn't even set up a straight forward plot yet besides the secret ending, there's a good chance that the words don't have meaning at all, well of course they do. However, they are possibly not KH3 related, but the "Series" Nomura has planned

The Keyblade Master = Kingdom Hearts I when Sora first earned his Keyblade

The Lost Two = Chain of Memories, Riku and Sora in Castle Oblivion

Memories of Xehanort = Kingdom Hearts II as it did focus mainly on Ansem, Xehanort, and Xemnas.

Chasers = Kingdom Hearts III? Or a compilation of the KH series, where the fact the armored knights might not be known as "Chasers" but they may be after something.

The Keyblade War = Kingdom Hearts III or Kingdom Hearts IV the last title to the series, where everything is concluded for the true Keyblade Master to eb revealed..or something.

However I will not even continue this until I see how the next installment of KH goes.

The Birth by Sleep is the only one that confuses me, however the Nomura seems to already know where the KH series, will go, or when it ends at that matter, if I'm correct

And if I am that means we have 2 more KH games to go.

I hope we don't have 2 KH games to go. I don't want to wait that long, plus I'd be in my twenties when they finished making them!

It's a really interesting theory though, although I don't think it's right. I'll explore it a little more. It's seriously sparked a few things in my mind.

What really got me thinking this was despite the text, it was the 'order' the text came up, as in order it came exactly like this

    Keyblade Master
    The Lost Two
    The Memories of Xehanort
    Chasers
    Keyblade War

Which seems to be the exact order on how the KH series has been going so far, whcih is the real reason on how and why I thought that.

To expand on your theory even more, maybe 'Chasers' is like the 'CoM'. CoM came between KH I and II. Maybe the game signifying 'Chaser's is a DS game? PSP? PS3? It's like the CoM filler between II and III. Then obviously, the Keyblade War would be KH III, and what we see in the preview.

good ideas but i want to change it some. i agree that chasers are probably good (if you're right about what they are). heartless collect hearts randomly; nobodies try and find their heartless so they can get their heart; wouldn't it follow that the chasers would be smart enough to get the body, heart, and soul together in one place? or as stated before they could be the crafters of the keyblades.

i also agree with the order of the games idea

keyblade master - sora's battle to prove himself the rightful owner of it
the lost two - sora and riku lost in castle oblivion
the memories of xehanort - showing you the truth behind him
chasers - unsure, but see above
    keyblade war - self explanitory
everything is born... - the creation of everthing?
...because of the slumber - a dream? something that happened because of sora going mia for a year?

yes i added in those last two even though most people with that theory don't include it. people also tend to combine those last two but they do come up seperately so i decided to keep them like that.

and xeitr, the game your talking about is called balled of the wind fish. it's old school and yet one of my favorites. which anyone who knows me will think is strange, because i'm usually more for the new, top of the line games

I love this theory... Here's what I've been thinking personally...

    Master of Keyblade
Quite neccessarily, Sora. If not, then the previous master's in which created/started the whole "locking" worlds thing. I assume is it just one person, since it's master, not master's. =P (obvious)

    The lost two

Well putting insight back into what you mentioned...I have a feeling it's people. I mean usually when we put "lost" and then "the ??? two," it's moreover classified as people.

    Memory of Xehanort
Personally, I believe this has to do with Ansem the Wise's memory of Xehanort. I mean Ansem the wise was an oooooold man. So likewise, he would have been part of the past, if the future KH games are placed there.

    Chasers

I can't determine. I don't want to theorize about this, since I have nothing to back me up--it could be the knights, heartless, nobodies, or even people like Sora or Organization XIII.

    -Undetermined-

    Keyblade War
Exactly what it sounds like. Keyblade war of Keyblade master's, I would think. THAT...or maybe it is like in star wars clone wars when all the jedi were whipped out by the sith/dark side people-- so maybe the population of Keyblade master's was much higher, and the heartless/nobody's wiped them out. (That or a good portion) -- This would ALSO explain the large field of keyblades, nay?

It all began with - Birth by sleep
Moreover; I have a gut feeling this had to do with when Sora went into his sleep. Maybe this was the start of the keyblade knights. Or maybe the start of soul 'being', being at a "magnificent" state during time.

Yeah...My idea's suck. Mostly because I have no solid proof on anything, and I'm not a good theorizer when it comes to this. (I've seriously done no studying or have even played KH2 since may 14th lol)

It looks like the figure at the end of the vid is dual-wielding Keyblades.

Also, if you look up "chaser" in the dictionary, it says that it's a person who forges weaponry and stuff. (I didn't find that second one, someone from KHI did)
