"Kasha Dwyre." Kasha said. "And you are Doctor Cox? Don't think I don't respect you, I respect you with my highest authority, but you really shouldn't of said anything." Kasha said, and turned facing Dr. Cox. She looked into his eyes, she didn't say anything and waited for him to say something before she would comment about his personality. She saw all of his personality when looking into his eyes. 'Damn'it he has a strong look, defiantly meant to lead this place.'

 

"let me guess you overheard my argument with my she-devil of a wife jordan and you think that I shouldn't have said that I forgot our anniversary and take her to olive garden right?
jeez what is it with women and that damn olive gardens?"

 

"I overheard your argument. I'm not gonna lie. Why not call her a cold-blooded reptile? Olive Garden? Yeah. Its an easy place to get A-S-A-P reservations. I personally hate the place." She said the whole time keeping eye contact with Dr.Cox, she kept her cool and didn't say anything after that, she knew that if he did something she would be completely on her own. Carla would just be smart not to get involved, and Elliot would probably get the hell away from there as fast as possible. It made Kasha suddenly feel cornered but she refused to show it, inside she was shaking and felt hollow though.

 

"she may be a cold-blooded reptile but she is the mother of my 2 children and I guess you can also say that i'm fond of her"

 

Kasha raised an eyebrow, and was no longer smiling. She had nothing to say. Her expression went back to its normal state, "Your a good father." She said and smiled. That was the only thought that filled her mind for the passed few seconds.

 

"your not so bad yourself compared to the others here especially fabrizzio (the janitor) and
dr. Beard face and lets not forget about Hooch who won the award for best psycho in the hospital"

Elliot: It's true one time he beat up a doctor with his shoe

Carla: It was terrible, if you see a doctor with a shoe print on his face that's him

Elliot: His name is Dr. Toejame, but we call him Dr. Toe Jam

 

Kasha didn't say anything, everything in her eyes was disappearing. She was thinking about something else. Nothing good. She was remembering her father and she didn't like what she was remembering. Kasha still kept eye contact with Dr.Cox, but felt more relaxed once he said that she wasn't as bad as the others. Kasha couldn't keep eye contact any more, "Damn...!" She said looking at the ground leaning against the wall again, she had her arms crossed and she was shaking. Her face couldn't be seen very well since she was looking at the ground but her eyes were wide with almost fear, and her teeth were tightly together. She didn't say anything and couldn't hear much around her.

 

Carla: Whats wrong?

Elliot: are you okay?

 

Kasha looked up, her eyes were dilated like she was dead, but she blinked and they started to go back to normal. "Yeah." Kasha said and looked back down. "I hated my dad." Was all she said, mostly saying it to Dr.Cox.

 

Elliot: I know the feeling

Carla: same here

Dr. Cox: and to think that all four of us didn't have anything in common

 

"I ran off, any one with me there?" Kasha asked, looking up at everyone. "I eventually ran back, but that was only for a few hours and I didn't even set foot in the house."

 

Elliot: My father never appreciated me

Carla: My father deserted me and my ma when I was 3

Dr. Cox: My mother left my father he became violent so I left and took my little sister with me to find our mom which we eventually did but she already had a family of her own which is why I am the way I am.

 

"My mom split when I was five, and my dad used to beat me. He promised he wouldn't use his belt buckle when he beat me but he still did. It was his way of discipline. I took off, every now and then I'd return. The last time i did I was seventeen." She said. "I don't blame any of you for not liking your father. It surprises me I'm here today. Even the fact that I was ever close to becoming a doctor still gets me."

 

"look newbie I know what it's like to get beat up for no reason but things always happen for a reason. To be honest I dont regret having the childhood that I had because it's what got me here this is why I became a doctor to help people who were hurt and that's why my sister paige became a minister to show people that there's hope. The kinda hope I wish I would've had everytime my father beat the crap out of me while paige was curled up in a ball crying in the corner."

Carla felt bad for Dr. Cox and got all emotional and started crying.

 

"That's the same reason I became a doctor. I don't have any siblings though. I don't remember at least. My mom's lawyer told me she left after my father beat her, she had to go to the hospital with fractures in the skull. I only saw my mom once and then she died in a terrorist attack. She was a travel agent and the terrorist on the plane sent her out with a case of explosives chained to her. After the accident my dad put her in though, I wanted to help people. Make them better." She said, and looked at Carla. She had suddenly felt something wrong with the atmosphere,

"Carla...?" She asked, not sure what to do, but she had a caring look on her face.

 

Carla: I'm sorry it's just that i've been an emotional wreck for the past 2 weeks lately

 

Kasha wasn't sure about asking 'Why' she had this problem or not. She stayed quiet unsure what to do. She looked at Elliot and Dr. Cox. She remembered when she was younger that whenever her mom or friends would cry she would start crying also, but she never did that now. Or Kasha tried to never cry if she could.

Elliot gave a tissue and Carla wiped her eye's

"I'm not hungry." Kasha said, and looked past Dr.Cox, she saw a doctor walking by with a shoe imprint on his face. She really thought about 300-style kicking the other side of his face so it would be even. But instead just watched him for a moment.

Dr. Cox: speeking of sweets I need to get something for Jordan before I go home

Elliot: the weirdest part is that she put the yogurt ON her cheeseburger and fries

Carla: What? not my fault that I was craving for that stuff
