"Sure you can, darling." Kasha said, really not caring. She has been single ever since Eighth grade, she had gotten asked out plenty of times, but turned down every boy. "Yes, I'm new here. I just transferred from New Jersey, Clara's Mass. How did you know?"

Nathan: this isn't my first time here

 

"Oh?" Kasha said, "Well, I'll be asking more about your history when I get back." She said, and left the room, she went to the elevator and pressed the button for up, she was heading to the x-ray room to request room for an x-ray.

 

Dr. Cox was in the x-ray room

Dr. Cox: DAMMIT! *sigh* I just don't understand, he was doing fine

Dr. Pepper: The treatment didn't work, he has lung cancer theres always a 50% chance that it might not work you should know that more than anyone,

Dr. Cox: how much longer

"I give him less than 3 weeks"

 

Kasha stayed quiet looking at Dr.Cox. She wanted to say something but she couldn't think of anything to say. She really didn't want to get involved either. Dr.Cox wasn't happy. "Go for it. The world works in mysterious ways. It either works or it doesn't, but if they do die you sure as hell want to truly be able to tell that family you did all you could." She said looking at Dr.Cox, and went quiet.

 

Dr. Pepper left

Dr. Cox felt like he was being watched and saw Kasha

Dr. Cox: newbie, you were watching the whole time weren't you?

 

Kasha watched as Dr.Pepper left and sighed reluctantly. She turned her attention back to Dr.Cox. She had suddenly felt a negative energy in the air but somehow ignored it. "I did. I didn't hear much." She said. "Life comes and goes. There isn't much we can do except pass the judgment of death, and make a life expectancy longer." She said to Dr.Cox and crossed her arms.

Dr. Cox: you don't understand, you just started here. Until you get close to a patient... and then lose them, you wont understand what it's like to be a true doctor nor will I see you as one.

 

"Only the greatest successors take the chances to fail greatly." She said to Dr.Cox. "Anyway, I have to get back to work, I need to get an x-ray for my patient," Kasha said. "He's already aggravating me." She said in a low tone.

 

Dr. Cox: let me guess he asked if you were single and tried to flirt with you acted mysterious and there's no doubt that he's gonna try and hit on you again. Am I right or am I right?

 

"Damn. You see right through me." Kasha said. "He's gonna keep failing. I told him 'No, and I plan on keeping it that way.' I know he's gonna try it again, and its just gonna piss me off more. I'm gonna hope that he doesn't need surgery for his arm. Half and half. Don't want him around me if he tries again and so he can go home and see his family."

 

Dr. Cox: I've been working here for so long that my guessing skills have grown to a level that is just not normal anymore

 

"As far as I go. I can only tell someone's personality through their eyes." Kasha said, not looking at Dr.Cox. "Its a good way to tell yes no."

 

Dr. Cox: I guess were more alike than I thought, you don't let people in you would prefer to keep your barrier up and keep safe than take a risk, but I will let you in on a secret, as a doctor that is a stupid thing do to but... as a person, *sigh* not so stupid

 

Turk stepped off the elevator into the x-ray room going to pick up an x-ray sheet he had made for his patient. "She got a patient hittin' on her?" He said picking it up noticing the expression on her face.

 

Kasha listened to Dr.Cox and while it happened she looked into his eyes. She then diverted her attention to Turk who had just walked in. "Yep. I don't even know him. He's very straight to the point." She looked up at Turk. She didn't know who he was but she thought it might be Carla's husband(right?) she thought about saying 'Carla has something to tell you.' But instead she insisted to keep herself quiet.

"Hmm looks like you got the player type. You might wanna stop it quick before he lures you in. Ask Elliot she's been duped millions of times." Turk said laughing a bit at the end and grabbing the sheet. "Man I was afraid of that he's got a tumor in his right lung."

 

"I've been able to avoid since about 8th grade. Rejected every single one of them." She said and flinched her hand with her eyes closed. "The last time I had a boyfriend I thought about breaking up for him for so long I completely forgot I didn't. We were together for about one more year. I kept wondering why he kept showing up at my door." She watched Turk as he talked about what he really wasn't hoping for. "Who are you by the way?" She asked and quickly remembered to always introduce herself before asking questions. "I'm Kasha Dwyre by the way. New doctor."
