I was looking at another post by another Member and they were able to take a screenshot of their screen. Just wondering how it works. I know I posted it in the Spam Zone but im switching it so i dont get a bunch of spam about it
You should find something like "print screen" on your keyboard, possibly next to F12. What is does is that it copies whatever you were viewing into an image, but you'll need to open an imageprogram (like MSPaint) and paste it there then save it as an image file.
You don't get warned about it when you have pressed the button. :> 1. Push button. 2. Open MSPaint. Paste it (edit-paste). 3. Save. 4. You are done.
once i go into paint there is no paste option its not in bold like it normaly would be if you have something copied...
Then you should try again until it works - sometimes that can happen but usually you should be able to paste. The quicker way to paste is to press Ctrl+V. Keep trying.
make sure you have pressed the button first. then edit, then paste. if that doesnt work, then if you are using firefox you can download the "screegrab!" add-on.
When i click the PRTScr button it turns on insert wich is on the same button as prt scrn just under the words... is there a key like FN on laptops for regular computers?
I can't remember having seen an FN button for regular computers, I've only seen them on laptops. Tho I don't know for sure if they're exclusive to only laptops either.
