If I had to wear a uniform, I would move to Japan. Atleast their uniforms look cool.

I'm actually for uniforms. :/ I don't have to think about what I have to wear in the morning.

    ._.' I'm not a morning person.

Uniforms are sooo annoying! I'm wearing them at my school!

In the high school campus of my school you can't wear jeans unless they give you a jean day and you have to work for them!

It is just another way to control us. If they want us to dress modestly shouldn't they let us practice?

2 years in elementary school and two years in middle school, I had to wear uniforms. Yes it is very annoying but it's also for our protection from strangers from outside of the school. If we were to dress freely, some younger looking high schoolers could come over and then would kidnap us or something. But still, I'd rather not wear our school uniforms.

I've been wearing a uniform for most of my life.

Best things about it are not having to think about what you have to wear, you can't get harassed for what you're wearing, and it really does make you look better when you're in public.
For example, my friends and I went out to celebrate after our finals were done last year and we were in uniform. Our waitress was really nice and polite to us, but seemed short-tempered with a bunch of other kids that weren't in uniform.

I'm not saying public school kids are rude and obnoxious. But the uniform does seem to command a form of resepct.

And it's not like you can't have little differences with the uniform. The school I go to now gives you the option of a dress code sweater, sweatshirt, or a school team jersey (like soccer).

Though dress code everyday does make you forget when you actually have a dress down day. Which can be annoying.

And about violence and "bomb threats": It's not the clothes you're in; it's the person you are. I've had personal experiences in private school where there is a kid that's just not meant to function in society. And guess what; he's now at the same highschool as I am. *facedesk*
I digress. I like my uniform. xD

I have to wear uniforms :\ After a while you get used to it. The only thing I don't like about it is that we have to wear belts and we have to tuck in our shirts. If we got rid of those two things I'd be fine. On Fridays we can wear jeans and school shirts (like extra stuff that you buy, like for special areas, not acadimic.). It's alright, I just want a black t-shirt I could wear you know?
