Why do people do this? It doesn't make any sense to hurt teens. I mean, maybe in their minds it does, but how can we live like this?

    Jeez...

Why? Was there even a point to this? Was it just random?... This kind of current event makes me question how anyone can ever believe in a loving god... What did those kids do to deserve to die?

Has anyone noticed that most of the people that go on killing sprees kill themselves at the end? It's because all of thses kids have gone through either tramatic experiences from this school/teachers/students, they had mental issues, and or they were under high levels of depression/stress. (that or he was seriously POSSESSED)

A sign of this type of thing is when the person is extremely quiet or reserved. They seem to think about death and gore or they aren't comfortable talking about death. Then they talk less and less and less and everyone thinks that they're a good person until they just crack and they go out and do something insane and afterwards can't believe what they did (or they just planned to) they kill themselves.

This isn't the first time and it won't be the last if people keep believing that the people they never expect might go insane someday.

(and no I don't mean that all quiet people are phycopaths normally you can tell if there's something off about them)

    I'm so sick of this.
Our world is horrible and I just can't believe that people actually do this.
I don't even know what to say besides my heart is with those that are hurt right now.

By the way, I think this April will mark two years forVirginia Tech.

I don't want to stray onto a relgious debate, but God made the huge mistake of giving Humans free will if he indeed does exist. This was the fault of that psychopath, and that's the end of it. They didn't deserve to die, but in the killers mind they had, and that was really all he needed to make the decision.

Either way, My deepest sympathies to the families of the victims.

It's so scary that there are people like that in our world. This is my first year on my own, and I'm terrified not only for myself, but for my friends who are now spread out in colleges across the country. It's disgusting how people can do things like this, and I hate how it has become such a common occurrence. And I also hate how the people who do this are such cowards, usually killing themselves at the end and therefore avoiding punishment for such a terrible crime.

My sincerest condolences go out to the victims' friends and families.

No, I know, just my random ramblings on the subject. I was feeling really cynical and bored when I wrote that.

The guy who did this ... well, apparently he was brought up by a good family and seemed like a normal boy to the people surrounding him :/

My mum kept emphasizing that he spent most of his life on the internet; she's now convinced Ill become a mental serial killer because of the "obvious" bad effects the internet has ._.
He stated in an online chatroom that he was going to go to his old school and kill the people inside just a few hours before he commited the murders. Nobody in the chatroom believed him.

Blargh, just... those poor innocent people. D:

Dear god, I hate it when parents are techno-illiterate. That guy had problems before he ever discovered the Internet, probably. The only thing the people online might have done to make it worse, is if he went to 4chan, or some spam board somewhere where the people may have mocked him.

I mean, I basically live my life online - most of my friends I know from here, Youtube, or AstroEmpires. Am I gonna be a school shooter now? It all comes down to the mental build of the person, and the events of his life. I'm too cowardly to kill anyone without EXTREME provocation (them trying to kill me, for instance, and even then, as a last resort). This guy probably had some kind of mental instability, posibly insanity, possibly manic-depression, bipolar, who knows.

It's sad. I wonder what made him think to do that? What line do you have to cross to start thinking that the only way your life could be fulfilled would be through death? Wasn't there a quote in Full Metal Alchemist that was like 'hatred breeds hatred'? I think I'll try to be kinder to people now. It's scary, what can happen on any day.

It's horrible but I blame friends and relatives who didn't pick up on the guys behaviour beforehand.

I give my best wishes to the families of those murdered and wish them the best in the next life.
