School Dances

What are your expirences with them?

I think this is the first time my school hasnt flipped over the fact that there is a dance tommorow O.o Which is nice :3

I had a really bad expirence last year where this guy had been going out with this girl for a half a year and at the dance last year he dumped her for another one of my friends. The friend turned him down FAST. xD

And then the dance before that one, one of the most popular guys at school brought powdered alcohol to the dance. The girls turned him in :3 Except that night, he had asked my BFF *who had liked him for like forever D:* To be his GF. And she was so excited. And then she found out and broke into tears instantly and I comforted her for the rest of the dance T_T

You guys? xD

 

Holy moly, we have a dance tomarrow too xD

mmmm.... There was a time where my friend nearly forced us to slow dance... it was cute for a second, he smelled soooo goood.... But it was akward. He had just asked me out that night. ^^

We went in to get our pictures taken and the lady asked us, "Couple or best friends?" He looked at me, and we both smiled, and said, "Couple."

That night was the best. :)

Me and Misty were playing basketball in the Gym and then lay on the bleachers, and then I fell off them....about five feet.

 

Well... A long time ago (bout 6/7 years, so not that long) I was at a disco, I can't remember how it happened but I ended up in a little dance competition with some guy in his 20s.... I won ^^. lol a dude in his 20s getting pwned by an 8 year old.
And Frodis, that's a bit off topic.

Im actually neutral because at school dances, I dont actually dance with the guys because they are all afraid Im gonna kill them *different story for a different time :3* And Im just to blonde for them all! *strikes a pose and falls over*

 

Lol. I'm pretty nuetral too, i just dance with mah girl buddies :D None of the guys are afraid of me..... maybe thats not a good thing....

Oh well. :) Is your dance tommarrow for Halloween, or just a dance? Ours is for halloween, and i guarantee you, one of my friends is going to come as Michael Jackson. Like he did last year. It was awesome ^^ He like, breakdanced and it was just really cool :3

I just had one last week. The first school dance I went to.

It was a square dance I wound up being my best friend's partner. He's a better dance than I thought he was. Then we all did the Hustle and CottonEyeJoe and all the guys in my class were telling each other to follow me because I knew what I was doing. xD

We also had a bonfire after wards, and my two friends were there. We'll call one Beth and the other Jill (cause I won't say their real names). Well, the Jill was dating the Beth's ex-boyfriend whom she broke up with a few weeks ago. So, there was this huge fight. Beth then had my best friend and another guy through water on Jill and her boyfriend. And then Jill's boyfriend threatened to throw all three of them into the fire. They are still arguing about it.

 

Drama, drama, drama. Lol.

SO much Drama with school dances -_- It is like, unbearable most of the time.

OMFG I LOVE THE COTTONEYEJOE xD Our whole 8th grade knows it. Its like, our dance xD Though we look so stupid doing it, lol.

And Im on student council this year, so I have to go set up and clean up :/ But it should be fun otherwise ^^

Yeah, at my school, my rep is that if you get in my way I will hurt you. Mostly if you tease my friends or my brother (my twinny), you will most likey regret it :3 Little blonde gymnast girl will come after joo D< Thats why all the boys are scared of me :3 I mean is sorta sad, because I mean a BF wouldnt be bad, but I got my BFF's :3 so its all good ^^

Well, sometime I like to go and bother my older brother (he udually DJs at my school's dances) or if my bandmates are there with me, we'll go to the music room and pick up whatever instrument we like and perform for a few minutes (although the first time we did that was a *raining* failure --_--').

But usually, if I have a date and the dance tones down, we'll walk around the empty school and talk about stuff until it's time to leave.

 

I forgot about that. Was that before or after the basketball hit you in the head? =D

I remember we had a fund-raiser and it was the Halloween one. Me and Frodis were Org. XIII, and so everyone was like "What are you?" and I'm like "The Orgy. :3" and they're like "Whut?"

I thought it was funny.

Well, we actually just had our dance today. ^^
However, I went there alone... -_-
I did'nt have much fun, as I knew noone at the dance. I received plenty of stares for being the only loner. :(
However, I got a somewhat happy ending. My best friend showed up late(She's female, btw...:D) Anyways, she was alone as well, so we ended enjoying the party together the rest of the night. :) I at least got a hug. XD

 

Just two weeks ago was my school's Homecoming dance. It was really bad though, 30+ people were tested by a breathalyzer and discovered to have consumed alcohol. Several were arrested, many were suspended, and I bet every single one has officially screwed their chances of getting into a desirable college (most of the kids caught were considered the 'good students').
The people that got suspended were out for five days, but then the stupid drunks came back this past monday. It's sad to say that school seemed noticeably nicer during the week of their absence. On a scale of 1-10 'most ******ed thing to possibly do at a school event' I give them an 11.

 

well....my first and only dance i ever went to was my senior prom last year. tip: don't let your first dance be the senior prom, BIG MISTAKE. it was ok, but like many other things: HIGHLY OVERRATED. the only fun part is seeing how fancy ppl look and who's dating who. certainly not worth $90 but oh well.

 

Eek... sounds dismal.........

Yeah, for me they'd be a 16/10 on stupid. That's just...well...stupid. Lol.

 

Lol....We haven't really had any bad moments...

Although there was this one dance when the power went out and It was all dark, and the doors were locked for some unknown reason
So we couldn't find the keys and had to call the police on our teachers phone

Lol....It took 3 hours to get out and 4 hours for the power to go back on

 

School dances suck, well the ones at my school anyway, they were no fun at all.

 

I only went to a few school dances when I was in high school, that being homecoming which was pretty good. And prom which would have been better had we not gotten lost getting to the hotel it was at and ending up in the ghetto....that was fun.

But mine were pretty good at least my ASB had the sense to get a good DJ, unlike the ones at every other schools dances I went to.
