    No, I'm serious. xD
Have you ever noticed how often I get grounded? It's because I get a grade under 90. Even if it's 89 and half of the class fails the test, my mom's like, "You could do better than that. You can't go on the computer tonight. Give me your phone, too."
    -_-

Apparently my 8th grade stuff is getting sent to college too. And apparently colleges are looking at freshman grades more than before, which is why I don't think I'm taking it this year in case it counts.
Honestly, the only thing I remember about the SAT was that the people sent us the wrong time for the awards ceremony and I (as a 7th grader) was in the highschool ceremony. xD

....lol. I was invited to an awards ceromony too! I was just to lazy to actually go! XD

And I sorta know how that feels ._. Its always like " Why cant you be the best?"

    =.=

Anyone else have any tips? <:3

The joys of having insane parents. <3

Uh...well, don't panic when you take it, because that definitely will mess you up. Not answering a question doesn't take away from your score, so don't do what I did and randomly choose one that seemed about right. xD
Oh, and try not to get any songs stuck in your head, because that's probably the most annoying and distracting thing that could happen. 8D

Oh my god I got 'Sugar, We're Going Down' By Fall Out Boy, stuck in my head last time I took the SATs =.= It SUCKED O_O Cause I was writing the essay and was like humming it and I sucked xD

I had the Numa Numa song stuck in my head the first time I took the math section. It was...interesting. xD
If you have allergies I suggest bringing tissues too. I had that problem the first time and the proctor was sorta glaring at me because I kept sniffling. xDD

This year (8th) I was one of the kids picked to go over to the highschool and take the PSAT. I dunno if it differs between grade or anything, but i didn't find it very hard. I think i scored between 1650 and 1850. The actually SAT is harder, right? Easy tests can sometimes get annoying, and i hated sitting there for however long it took for the PSAT. I don't think i'm ADD or anything like that but sitting still is not one of my strong points.

Lulz, I took the SAT and ACT in 7th grade (I think it was called, like, talented youth something or other program) and I also took the PSAT in 8th. 7th was same thing, no training or whatever. I got in arguments with the maternal figure because I didn't want to get up early on a Saturday for both tests. I found the reading & language arts stuff easy on both. I got some of the math but a lot of it I'm sure I phailed on. PCAT isn't easier, just shorter. I don't know, I figure they're a thing you just have to endure :/

My score for the SAT the first time was I think 1550 and the ACT was 21. (Last year as an untrained 7th grader)

Back in the day when I was in high school oh so long ago, on the old style SAT the first time I got a 1300ish.

And on the newer kind I got a 1850 or so, its been a while but I think those were somewhere around my scores.

    Tips?

    Lulz...
    Timing is key. >8D
Be sure to be quick, but still accurate.
Don't bother answering every mother-effing question.

Don't burst out in random laughter... they don't like that. ;3; They call it "disrupting others."

I barely remember my SAT. I think my score was 1150, but I know I blew the math score. I'm always better at reading/writing, math always just sucked for me.

    That is good!
    (:

I got a 28 on the ACT the first time I took it. So for being in 7th grade, you kicked some serious ass~

I got a 1600 in my SATs last year in the 8th grade.
But in my high school, I don't even take the SATs or the ACTs.
Just this High School Graduation Exam.
It determines whether you graduate or not.

I've took them. They're boring. Long. Easy. And the reading part pisses me off.

I took the SATs last year and did pretty decent, though the actual scores I can't remember. I think Writing was my best section.

Unfortunately I ended up taking it three times over since that was the number my guidance department at school recommended. -.-

well if you do good, you shouldn't take it more times.

also, you CAN cancel your score which is a good idea if you KNOW you totally screwed up. becuz you are REQUIRED to send ALL of the scores that you got to the colleges. so they will see it.

sats are ghey to the max.

please don't stress out about them, just try your best and study a decent amount. because your in 7th grade, your essays shouldn't be as good as you hope them to be. once you start reading more literature and take apush etc. you'll have more details and commentaries. so don't push it! you're still young, take it slow and you'll be great. and one more thing, focus more on school than sats. being a junior in hs right now, i know how much schoolwork can affect college aps. work hard babbbby!

I've taken a mock once. (my stupid school only offers like 2 a year. U miss it, u miss it =/) I find it pretty easy and "super" studying is not necessary unless you get like D's or F's in Algebra or English.

I think I got around 2100. (or was it 1900 =/ I dunno I forgot. I'll see if I can find meh results)

Though I think I'll study for the official one anyways.

And yes, the essay portion is a B!7(H

I think the SATs weren't as bad as it may seem. If you're pretty decent in MATH, @ least up till Algebra II and if you're cool in ENGLISH, you should do fine. That's all that really matters. Of course time yourself cuz that shyte is really annoying. And the best thing you can do to youself is say "OH EM GEE I LOOOVE THE SATS"
It actually makes your brain have the false impression that you're actually enjoying that loooongg and boring thing.. xD it really WROKS. haha.
And do whatever is necessary to keep you butt from hurting for sitting down on those hard chairs for 5 friggin hours. I really think that's what brings in the toll for the most part. By the end of it, many just say screw that. O.o'

Go in there with that false impression, MAKE your brain think that ITS THE BEST THING IN THE WROLD. and of course keep a positive attitude. :noworries: that always matters. =]
