This sig is not extraordinary by any means. What's weird is I feel like all my sigs suddenly SUCK. I keep trying to get back int he swing of things but I always come up short. Anyway this is the best I could do for now, I'm entering it in SoTW, so cnc before I do would be wonderful.' Clr Liek BW
Not that I'll get any, but could you guys give me REAL cnc? Unless you are going to say something other then "I like it", gtfo and don't post.
Well, I know it's not your best (no offense intended) but I do know as of right now, your's would most likely win. >_>; Anyways, the only thing I don't really like about it is the extra face right next to the stock. Also, the red kinda doesn't match the stock (maybe try some blue?), but that may just be me. >_>; Besides that, good job.
I like the B&W one better because the red on V.1 is too random, because the render isn't really red at all. Maybe if you put a gradient over him he'll look better, but that's just my opinion.
Actually guys, the original render had bloodstains on it. They're either outside of the sig, or hidden behind more red and black.
V1 is nice, but the squares a bit too strong. Lower the opacity maybe and change the border. It'll help, otherwise. Hawt for a sotw.
Hmm..... In your recent sigs, you have been overloading them with different styles. That's not really bad, but I would try and spend a little more time on these types of sigs, trying to figure out what would look the best, by saving what you have as a psd, then chaging things postioning, color, size, shape, as well as taking things away. Then, I would compare the two tags. Anyways, on to the cnc. The checkerboard and splatter isn't doing so well here. Maybe if you made the red more of a maroon color, and adding clipping masks at a low opacity may make it look like it actually belongs in the tag, then blur teh white splatter. The lighting is coming from the wrong direction, and it's basically just a brush stroke. Not uch going on with it. try moving it under the stock, kind of near the text. Just make sure you add some lighting to the text, so it seems to be blendid into the tag a little better. Also, some new brushes never hurt ;). Maybe it would help you out if you looked at a few tutorials for maybe one or two sigs.
B&W is better in this case, only because the red is entirely out of place and is drawn (from what I can see) in no way from the stock to match any sort of theme or continuality that you can offer. Generally speaking, I hate this sort of randomness involving checkerboards and random streaks and such. Its very very distracting to my eye and I don't know where to look! This sig was a really good example of how to make a person's eyes flow from thing to thing. In the sig you made it just looks like a big much of patterns with a picture in the middle. Its ok though, for whats its worth you cant get em every time. Overall the sig was just poorly composed/conceived and isn't visually appealing ultimately.
