From Chain Of Memories, the Riku Replica is made from Riku's data. In the song, you hear, "I need true emotions" at isn't that basically one of the things it wanted? Also it says "I hear I was Ansem." He could be talking to Naminé. And the "He was Ansem" part could be him thinking it's the real Riku that was Ansem. Im obviously reffering the the KH1 Ansem, Xehanort's Heartless so don't get confused. Tell me if you're on my side with this, or if you have your own theory.

Riku is tough, and so is darkness, don't you think a combo of them both with no light can't be stopped just once?

The more popular Sanctuary Revesed video is by "Utawarezen". And its easier to find on a search.

 

I think there has been a similar thread that says- "I need more affection then you know." when it speaks rubbish in the song normally. Thanks for saying about he rest though!

I do think you have a point therr but here's my "theory".
When it says "I need more affection than you know" it represents Kairi,how she feels about Sora and how she felt when both Sora and Riku left.
The "I need true emotions"it could refer to the nobodies,because Roxas was not whole.

"He was Ansem" could represent how Sora felt when he found out about Riku's true idendity.

"Now you shall sleep"represents when Sora went to sleep for a year.
"And it was real and I never knew it"it could represent Riku's feelings when he gave into the darkness.

I already posted my theory on my blog, so here it is.

I, personally, think the reversed song makes complete and total sense. I mean, when i listen it sounds like the point of view of some of the people in Kingdom hearts.

Sora: Yeah, it was him. So, and now, turn it down. Why? He was Ansem, he was Ansem.
Riku: Yeah, I was him. We all three grew. I hear I was Ansem, I hear I was Ansem.
Namine: And now you shall sleep. Yeah, it was real, and I never knew it(close it)Now in terrible sleep, he finally listens. I hate emotion
Riku: I need true emotions. I need more affection than you know. I need true emotions. I will not destroy them. So many ups and downs. (this could also refer to Namine, because 1. she is a nobody, 2. Marluxia almost makes her erase Sora's memory, causing his heart to collapse, and she denies: 'I will not destroy them'
Sora: He was Ansem, he was Ansem. I need more affection than you know. Wasn't it easy?

Now think about the lyrics, Sora saying "he was Ansem, he was Ansem" and its a recap of KH, so think about it, Riku was posessed by Ansem, and Riku did the same thing to Ansem in KH2. I think that the opening song is what is going through Sora's head as he's sleeping. In his dream he was thinking about what happened to Riku, and Riku is saying "yeah, I was him." as if he's assuring Sora that he wasn't just seeing things.

"We all three grew"
The 3, most likely referring to Sora, Riku, and Kairi. The all grew up together. Then Riku says "I hear I was Ansem" like he didn't know what had happened, and Sora or Kairi told him.

Namine saying her bit, he shall sleep. He is refferring to Sora, and she says "Yeah it was real and I never knew it" Maybe this is referring to Sora's memory.

Riku says "I need true emotions" now I can't explain what this means, but I think what Riku is trying to say is, he still thinks that his heart is not his own, and that his feelings for his friends and his emotions still haven't fully returned. And he also says "I will not destroy them" as if he is referring to kairi and Sora. Its like he is saying "I will save Kairi, but not if it means destroying Sora." And bye "So many ups and downs" he is probably thinking about what he should do. Save Kairi, or help Sora.
