I know theres been a thread about the backwards lyrics, but not about it being connected to Riku.

Actually to me I don't think so

I think the backward version conncets to the main characters of Kingdom Hearts (such as Sora,Kairi,Riku,Naminé and Roxas)

For example:

This could describe Kairi's feeling toward Sora

This could describe how Sora responded toward Riku being Ansem

I thought the true emotions wasn't reflecting on the nobodies.. i thought that it would be connecting to Riku because where he was lost in darkness for that period of time

Thats what I sort of thought, but it also relates to Sora b/c of his slumber
