Beuce wasn't surprised she had tanked his storm strike. She was tanky as all hell. It took a lot more than that to bring her down. So, he waved his hand and in front of him two layers of a shield appeared. The layer closer to his opponent was an icy barrier that wouldn't hinder her attacks, but as it was passed through, a cold magic would shoot a chilling pain through her body each time. The second was an actual barrier which would defend him from her attacks for a short time. In the menatime, Meteors were promised. And meteors she would have. After casting a short incantation, a large flaming rock plummeted from a portal in the sky. He too was unaware of the assassin watching their fight. Because he can only see through basic stealth, not advanced.

Roman was shocked. The person he had just been conversing with, a dragon no less, had just been slain by some unseen force. Shortly after the dagger left the hands of the unseen assassin. He sent a massive shockwave immediately in the general direction of it. It worked. The assassin was struck and knocked out of his invisible state. Without hesitation, spell rained down upon him with all the force of a great typhoon. The assassin was reduced to ash, but it was too late. his mission had been accomplished. Calor, the mighty dragon, was dead.

The female incarnation of Gehenna with the duo in combat prowled around for a bit, inching closer so as not to be caught in the crossfire. This was their leader and, as rumor had it, her lover. Taking out either one of them would severely weaken their government. Both would be ideal. Ordinarily, attacking the magic user would be ideal, but he had a spell around him that made it harder to deal with. No, the girl would be the prime target. While she was tougher than most, a dagger to her throat would still do the trick. She lunged at her, dagger prepared to pierce her neck and be thrown at the next target.

A more slender incarnation, one that stood tall and straight, revealed himself from stealth into the vision of the young bartender.
"I'm impressed. Not many would be able to tell i was there. Not that it matters. You'll die anyway, but just out of curiosity, how did you do it?" The man with the skull mask wondered.

A more elderly version who walked with a hunch was the one confronting Vladimir. He was more nimble than he looked as when his stealth broke, he had apparently completely evaded the attack. He seemed to be grinning through his mask as he let out a decrepit cackle.
"A demon, yes. But not one of yours. I'm here to cheat them of your life by taking it myself"

Sebastian sighed a little bit. Other people may have facepalmed, or perhaps even have simply told Anthrax he was wrong, but not Sebastian; he knew better. He knew that once Anthrax said something, there was nothing that would change the rat's mind. If one was to prove that Anthrax was incorrect, they had to trick him into believing it. Casually, the avian wandered next to Anthrax and simply looked up at his face. "A threat isn't a threat unless they're dangerous. We all know how great and powerful the mighty Anthrax is, surely nothing would be dangerous to you. If that's the case though, then you won't be able to kill any threats, because there won't be any" he explained coolly.

Anthrax thought this over for a moment. As what his friend had just said sank in, Anthrax's jaw could slowly be seen widening out of sheer horror. "No kill?! No fight?!" Anthrax exclaimed, nearly falling backwards as he took a step back, as if to get further away from the truth. Fighting was essential for Anthrax, an animal that ran on pure instinct and almost never thought anything through. Sebastian seemed to relax his shoulders as a small smirk appeared on the avian's face. That smirk was gone in an instance though, as Anthrax picked up Sebastian and began vigorously shaking him. "BUT ANTHRAX WANT TO FIGHT, ANTHRAX DO NOTHING WITHOUT FIGHT!" the hulking monster yelled out, panicking.

Nearby the building Flame and Beucefilous were having their duel, a trail could be found. Not a trail of rocks, or of breadcrumbs, or anything of the sort really. This was a trail of corpses. Four dead squirrels lay in a neat line, leading to the entrance of the building the duel was taking place in. An assassin had made the trail, that much was certain, but not the one that was planning the death of the leader of Inranahe. No, it was someone much more dangerous, someone much more cunning, and someone much more altogether stupid.

The dagger that Gehenna had lunged at Flame with was knocked out of the air by none other than the assassin Gexln, and fell to the floor uselessly with a soft metallic sound made as it hit the ground. Had it been anyone else, perhaps Gehenna would have been questioned; it made sense in times of war, but not with Gexln. Gexln was most certainly not known for doing things that made sense. As the dagger fell to the ground, Gexln unsheathed his two swords that were held on his back by sheer magic and ran Gehenna through with both blades. "Assassin..assassinated!" announced Gexln proudly as the body fell to the ground.

Kruez had remained silent as he listen to Ulrich speak. Near the end of his words, a somewhat surprised face had appeared on his face. He actually wanted to know what it like to someone close to him. It was understandable since he was a drifter, but Kruez situation was a bit more complicated that simply keeping his fathers hat. "Trust me, your not missing much." He started, leaning back on the tree. "While there are some benefits to have someone close to you, it's a pain when you lose them, especially right before your eyes." This was not referring to his father however, it was referring to the man who gave him his father's glove and hat and taught him everything that he knew. Unfortunately he died a long time ago when Kruez was still young. "Old habits die hard I guess."

Right as he was just about to close his eyes, a scream rang through his ears. Great, just as I was starting to relax Getting up from where he sat, he motioned for Ulrich to follow him before heading off in the direction the scream. Suffice to say, he was surprise to see Sess, a broken window and Tinarah when he arrived. "Someone mind explaining what happened?"

Flame was getting ready to attack once again knowing the only way to get anywhere in the battle was to cause enough damage to break his second barrier. Before she could manage to attack a woman appeared out of stealth and began to charge at her, not really giving Flame enough time to react. Flame would attempt to tank it but after all she already taken quite a bit of damage and it might not turn out well for her, but what could she do about it. She didn't have enough time to even cast holy shield. Lucky enough for her a familiar face in a bunny suite appeared knocking the dagger out of the air. He then proceeded to kill the assassin. "Gexln. Good to see you again. What brings you here?" She asked, not even fazed by the just attempted assassination.
Sasha did her best to appear calm as the skull masked man appeared from the shadows. "I can sense movements in the air. There was a disturbance in the air that was not my own." She said calmly as she began to conger up lightning in the palm of her hand. She would not attack till he attacked, though he already made his attentions clear she didn't want to risk destroying anything that didn't need destroyed. Her magic occasionally got a little out of hand, she had not mastered complete control over it yet, but she was still pretty good.

Tinarah slowly looked up at Kruez. He wanted to know what happened but in all reality it was hard for her to even say. It caught her off guard and she didn't know how to explain what had happened or the reasoning for her scream. She would first respond to Sess however. "I don't go outside... It isn't safe. I prefer staying in here alone, where I am safe." Her voice was quiet and timid as she took a step back from the now two boys in her house. She then turned to answer Kruez. "It's nothing. Sorry if I made you worry." Her hands where now clasped in front of her and she looked at the ground, staying more quiet now.

Hiro only looked at Xero with a raised brow, "Why?" Xero looked at him and shrugged, "Well, I just want you to meet her is all." Hiro slowly nodded, still a bit confused as to why exactly she wanted him to meet her sister. Hiro suddenly saw something in the corner of his eye. He turned his head to see a manifestation of Shiro, that he could only see. Shiro only glared at Xero with annoyance in his eyes, 'Tch, why do you waste your time with this wrench?'

Hiro narrowed his eyes and growled as he spoke quietly to the manifestation, "Well if you don't like it, why're you here then?" Shiro made a smirk, 'Because I know that eventually I can get rid if her whenever I want.. buut--' Shiro was cut off when Hiro punched the wall next to him. He only looked at Hiro with calm, relaxed eyes and a slight smirk, "If you even touch one hair on her, I won't think twice about ending you." Shiro laughed mockingly, 'Oh please, you and I both know that if I die, you die as well. You're stuck with me, like it or not.'

Roe heard Hiro talking to himself and sighed then jumped when Hiro punched the wall. She just looked at him with wide eyes, "I-is he bothering you again?" Hiro looked at her as he slowly took his fist off the wall that left a small intention, "Just a litt-- Shut up!" Hiro turned to his side to shout at something Roe was unable to see and she flinched as he did, "Hopefully he won't... You know.." she said as she stood up. Hiro crossed his arms as he groaned, "Well, I think we should go out and look for stuff now." Roe said as she began making her way towards the door as Hiro shortly followed.

Quite a while later (yay time skips)

Roe groaned in annoyance as she walked, "How are we supposed to find these stupid components if we don't even know where to look?" Hiro rolled his eyes as he walked with his hands in his pockets, "Maybe you're just blind." Roe frowned at his statement and mumbled under her breath, "You're not even helping..." Hiro suddenly stopped walking and Roe bumped into him from behind, "Hey, what're you--"
"Quiet!" Hiro said as he was trying to listen closely to something he thought he heard.

"Anth..ax.. wan... fight...! Anth... noth.. but... Fig...!" Hiro could hear someone shouting from a distance and looked to the top of a building and soon broke out into a sprint into the building, "Hiro! Where are you going?!" Roe soon ran after him into the building and followed him up the flights if stairs and onto the top of the roof. Hiro stood there with wide eyes and confusement watching a giant rat shaking an avian while shouting. "HEY!!" Hiro shouted at the two to get their attention.

    Sess
Sess stared at Tinarah with sad, puppy dog eyes. "Maybe, but you can actually live when you're outside, having fun. Staying locked up isn't living... it's boring and you might as well be dead," he whined, scratching the back of his head. However, he perked right on up, not even paying mind to Kreuz or Ulrich, who had followed the young wizard. "I know! Would you like for me to keep you company? I'll keep you safe while we have fun!" He laughed, his smile warm and bright.

    Ulrich
Ulrich had followed Kreuz at his beckoning, which he was already on his way to Tinarah's house the moment she let out her scream. When they arrived, he simply smiled. Tinarah was always easily startled, but Sess was the complete opposite; reckless, impish, and altogether hopeless. "Well," Ulrich sighed after Kreuz and Tinarah had spoke. "I suppose it is about time for me to leave. And Kreuz... I understand you more than you'll ever know. Perhaps, someday, we can have a talk over some tea?" Ulrich laughed, turning and waving his hand as he began to leave, walking out Tinarah's house via door.

    (~Time Skippity!~)

    Vallyn Desp'Ana
Vallyn waited for his prey to enter the house, shadows enveloping him so much so that he might as well have been a part of the shadows himself. So talented in the ways of stealth, of slowing his breathing and to shift his weight with his eldritch grace, that Vallyn nearly forgot that he was still only half of a drow. However, he simply waited. Vallyn began to hear footsteps, a slap of a sword in its scabbard at the leg, and the creaking of leather. He knew this to be his target.

The doorknob twisted, turned, and open. However, Vallyn was in the corner of the hinged-side of the door, and he knew perfectly well that he could easily take out his target. He waited until the shadow stepped into the dark house; which he did. The door closed, and just as the person was reaching for the light switch, Vallyn grabbed the hand, twisted it, and pulled the person close to him, drawing in a single fluid movement a dagger that was pressed against the target's neck. Blood glistened from the target's neck as the blade bit in.

Vallyn called forth the shadows, enveloping both of them in darkness so thick that it was near-impossible to see through it. Vallyn warped him and his target to the gloomiest place in all the worlds.

    The Plane of Shadows.

"Sorry," Vallyn muttered, his melodic voice a whisper of death. "But this is war, after all." With that, Vallyn slid the dagger through the target's neck. He slowly dropped the body onto the ground and stabbed the man's chest, shoving the dagger through the heart.

Vallyn walked away, leaving the corpse of Ulrich Faust forever lost and forgotten in the Shadow Plane.

Vladimir glowered at the masked assailant. Nimble, even with a hunchback. "You know you are going to die." He remarked, his eyes narrowing. Vladimir knew where he stood. He summoned a variety of polearms that he could use to his advantage, since their primary task had failed. It wouldn't have mattered if they hit or not, in any case. Vladimir had the equivalent of a King's armory at his disposal, upon his own home turf. Even if the assassin could use them, Vladimir knew that he himself had complete and utter control. The Hellknight cupped his open-hand whilst holding the broadsword in the opposite, which did not encumber him whatsoever. A black ball of Absolute Zero fire appeared in the cupped hand, its coldness not bothering Vladimir in the slightest; despite its threatening chill seeping through his bones. Vladimir un-cupped his hand and pointed the black flame, open-palmed, at the demon assassin.

In a simple moment, the ball of black fire became a conical inferno of pure, Hellish cold shooting its way towards Gehenna.

Kruez gave Ulrich a quick wave before turning to the situation at hand. So it seemed that Sess had little intentions on leaving Tinarah's home even though he technically broke into it in the first place. If it was anyone one elses home, he would've left not too long after finding out that it was Sess who'd caused the trouble. But since this was Tinarah, leaving her alone with Sess probably wasn't the best idea. "I'll stay if he's staying, just to make sure that he doesn't cause another ruckus."

(Ooc: I apologize for lack of formatting, but i am far far too lazy)

Beuce too wasn't at all surprised by the sudden appearance and assassination of Gehenna. After all, he had seen him...her...him dressed as a her (i don't judge) multiple times. Apparently they REALLY wanted flame dead. Regardless of how many times they were killed, the shadowy assassins always seemed to come back. Luckily enough, an old battle bunny friend of theirs had saved the day. "Gex! Buddy! Ah i missed you ya little homicidal psychopath!" Beuce said, wrapping an arm around Gexln's neck and rubbing his knuckles into his head through his bunny helmet.

Roman floated over the dead body of Calor. He had been unable to defend such a noble creature, and the loss weighed heavily on him. He considered Calor to be one of his only friends in Inranahé. Nevertheless, he figured it best to report the death and attempted assassination to Flame. He set off in the direction of her home.

The Gehenna with Sasha visibly smirked under his mask. "Weather magic huh? That's a neat little trick. Don't think i've ever seen one'a those before. Man, you're a cute one." He grinned slyly, walking over to her and placing his arm against the wall next to her. "I just don't feel right killing a pretty little gem like yourself." He paused. His exact intentions with her were unclear, but one thing was certain. She wasn't going to like them. "But i'll get over it!" With that, he drew a knife and plunged it at her neck.

The hunched old man knew his battle against the hellknight would end in death, that much was unavoidable. But that didn't mean some damage couldn't be done before he went down. With a leap that betrayed his elderly appearance, Gehenna spun and tossed multiple thin, razor sharp needles at Vladimir. The arm that threw them was caught in the inferno and instantly lost use. However, the man seemed unphased by the pain.

Anthrax stopped shaking Sebastian as a voice called out to him. He dropped the avian and turned his head slowly to look at where the voice had come from. "What you want?" Anthrax asked. His attention was caught quickly by the sound of movement, so the rat turned to look at Sebastian now. "Sebastian going?" he asked.

As soon as he could, Sebastian had started walking back to where he had been positioned before Anthrax. The gigantic rat was perhaps the only creature he knew that he would ever consider sparring with, or even just messing around with, as despite it perhaps not being the smartest idea he had complete trust in the rat; something he could not say about anybody else. He glanced over his shoulder at Anthrax as he was asked where he was going. "Sebastian must watch, Sebastian must guard again" he replied simply, answering the rat's question in the same manner of which the mutant spoke. Barely even acknowledging the person that had yelled out to him, he turned his attention to the horizon once more, resuming his guard duty.

Anthrax gave a look at Sebastian that made it look like he was almost upset that his friend wouldn't play, which in truth he sort of was, but after realizing it would change nothing he switched his gaze to the person that had yelled at them earlier. He sat down on the edge of the building, looking down at the man and tilted his head slightly, wondering for the second time what the man wanted with him.

Gexln began squirming, trying to get out of Beuce's grasp. Thankfully, he was able to do so. He stood up straight and decided then to answer Flame's question. "What was I doing here? Uh..certainly not watching you two, no not at all. Uh...I heard...rumours of an assassination attempt so I came here to er..take out the assassin before he could kill you!" the Assassin replied, clearly lying. He then turned to face Beuce and pointed at him. Although, despite him pointing his finger at him, the bunny suit made it look as though he simply raised a furry paw in his general direction. "If you ever do that to me again you'll wind up in the same position as that guy. That was annoying" he stated in a half joking manner.

"Uh huh... sure...." Flame said in a rather sarcastic unimpressed voice. She questioned why Gexln would even care to watch them, it wasn't like they where doing anything particularly interesting. Then again it was Gexln. He ran around in a bunny suite just for the hell of it. She had learned long ago not to question his motive. He was slightly insane in her opinion to say the least. Flame looked down at Gehenna's body then stepped over it heading back towards her house. "So you guys want some tea or something? By the way Gexln do you plan to hang around and help with the war efforts or are you just here to say hi?" She asked without turning back to look at the guys.

Sasha raised her eyebrow slightly as the man made a sad attempt at flirting. "Really now?" She said as he complemented her. She was still quite skeptical of the man standing before her, and for good reason too. As he pulled his knife out and leaped at her she shot off the lightning that she had began to create and shot it off at his chest. "I won't die that easy." She said as she followed the lightning up with a ice shard.

"Then I am perfectly not living." Tinarah informed Sess. This statement wasn't entirely true, she wasn't happy but to her anything was better then going outside. She didn't like the idea of dealing with lots of people or having to put herself into danger. "I-I am fine, you can leave me alone." She told Sess. Kruez then offered to stay and watch over them. This made Tinarah even more uncomfortable. She really didn't like people and would rather avoid them but it seemed she didn't have much of a choice in the matter. People where barging in on her home and there was nothing she could do about it. But she was too nice to tell anyone to leave.

    Sess
Sess looked from Tinarah to Kreuz, then back to Tinarah. There was a deep, overwhelming sadness that gripped his heart. Loneliness. Sympathy. Pain. These things gripped his heart, so much so that they clawed and cut. However, he smiled at Tinarah, masking the rejection. "I'm sorry, Tinarah," he said cheerily. "I'll leave you alone. If you ever want to have fun, you know where to find me." He rose to his feet and began to walk towards the door. His smile did not falter, but his mask was empty and devoid of the emotion that he wanted to show. Sess opened left without a word, but he waved good-bye instead.

Vladimir noticed a couple of shimmers flying towards him, something he couldn't make out. He did know that his flame destroyed the assassin's arm, but what he did prior to it was a mystery. Vladimir glared as he deduced that the shimmering objects were projectile weapons. With a grunt, black flame engulfed the Hellknight as he tried to avoid the weapons. Some deflected off his armor, others became obsidian shards and ash, and he winced when some of the needles made it through the small openings of his armor. However, he kept moving, and moving abnormally fast, grabbing a spear from the ground and aiming it at Gehenna as he charged towards him. The black flame he conjured died away quickly, and his sword acted as a lance as he continued his charge whilst letting go of the spear, throwing with all his might.

Not particularly long had passed, and already he was getting bored with this man. Surely there had to be something better to do, right? The huge rat hopped off the building he was on, and began to go for a walk. Light thuds could be heard as the rat took each step, his bulky size clearly not made to be very quiet at all, nor did Anthrax like to be. Maybe he'd leave the town and go hunting, trying to find some things to fight; the idea sounded good enough to him. A toothed grin would have been seen, had anyone been watching. "Anthrax find fight" he said simply, continuing his search.

As Flame asked Gexln whether he was there to help with the war or not, his mind flashed back to the small pile of slain squirrels that sat outside. "I'm here to help with the war. Actually, I have slain a few of the opponents' soldiers. Those woodland creatures will never, ever set foot in this house, I guarantee it" he responded, clearly not fully understanding what Flame had meant. He sheathed both his weapons now, and decided to make another sweep, in case the assassin he had so skillfully and awesomely disposed of had not been alone. After focusing for not even half a second, his eyes began to glow a slight purple colour. This ability let him see those who walked among the shadows as he did, and was a trait almost solely available to those who were as practiced in the art of stealth and deception as those they were seeking were. He began searching around, behind objects and in every nook and cranny to make sure that they were safe. If he happened to find someone, that meant a double kill would be available, and maybe even a triple kill. One could only hope.

Beuce patted his psychotic friend's shoulder. "A true hero to the effort against the squirrel abominations. Save some for me next time eh buddy?" Beuce said in a joking tone. Then again, everything he said was like that so there was a good possibility he was serious...Aaanyways, he decided to change the subject to the elemental that had just walked/floated into the room. "Roman hey, you don't look a day over 500"

"I bring grave news." He said, completely ignoring the imbeciles by Flame's side and addressing her directly. "Calor, the dragon of Inranahe, is dead. An assassin wearing all black and a skull mask was the culprit, but i've defeated them."

The elderly assassin in combat with Vladimir took the throwing knives from his belt, and tossed them at the hellknight mere seconds before the lance pierced his chest. It was over for him, for now. He didn't fear death. He was but one of the many assassins that would come. And perhaps the knives would even take the hellknight with him, who knew?

The flirtatious Gehenna was caught off guard by the magic. An assassin's greatest asset was in a quick, stealthy kill. Not a drawn out fight. When one chooses to give up this advantage, well, it's a give that the fight won't last long.

Flame facepalmed lightly at Gexlns reply. He wasn't the sharpest tool in the shed, but really? Woodland creatures? They weren't threatening in the slightest, they weren't the issue. The Isidiukans where, as well as the Aisiki. Both great threats to them and their cause. Flame opened her mouth to explain the actual war to Gexln when Roman approached. She turned her attention to him. "I see|" She said trying to keep calm and collected. She looked at the dead incarnation of Gehenna behind her. "I was not the only one attacked this time." Flame rubbed the back of her neck as she walked into her house leaving the door open for anyone to follow if they so chose. "So Isidiuka has waged war once again. I knew there would be bloodshed when in came to obtaining components and once they where in our grasp, but never imagined it this early." Flame was starting to feel slightly discouraged as she felt she failed as a leader already. She was not her father, she would never meet his level, but she had to try. He had started planning for something. Not moving yet in fear that his army was too weak at that point. Flame planned on finishing what he started, but how could she, she wasn't a leader. She never had been the type to lead.

"Roman prepare a team, you and that team will head out for the first component in the morning. Me and these two idiots are going to try to do a little information collecting. Find out what is going on in Isidiuka. No attack yet just information collecting. You are in charge of your own team. I am trusting you." Flame wasn't sure if dividing their forces was the best idea but it seemed like the most logical form of action.

Sasha, having killed the mad who attempted to attack her retreated once again behind the counter wondering if anyone else saw or knew of what had just happened. Chances where that she wasn't the only one attacked considering she was not the biggest threat that was in this region. She didn't know what to do now, there was a body in the middle of the floor. She was still a bit shaken from that attack. Yes she was a strong witch but she grew up in a world of serving others not fighting. She had never actually killed someone before. Her hands started to shake slightly.

Seeing her house was empty Tinarah sat down again and let out a deep breath of relief. Even though Sess tried to mask it she sensed sadness in his voice. She felt bad for causing that, but what else could she do. Since she had come here she never left her house in fear of the dangers that lurked outside. She looked down at her hands, the powers she had, they weren't to be used to fight or protect. They where meant for cleaning up the mess and for peaceful uses. She knew she couldn't survive out there. On the other hand the warm sun did look inviting, and the town square should be pretty safe. Tinarah stood up and reached for the door but hesitated. Her fears about what where out there were making her hand shake but she gripped the door and opened it. She did not step foot outside yet, but the warm air and sun felt nice.
