Episode 3 was a lot better than Episode 2. Smoother writing in general, but I still don't care for John. There are better, more entertaining ways to portray a weak character who'll (probably) become strong and stout.

BUT DEM PAJAMAS. SPECIALLY ON DAT BLAKE.

Not sure where you got the impression that Jaune (that is how his name is spelled, dammit!) is weak. He hasn't done anything.

At the moment Jaun's mainly for comedy, but he'll probably do something soon enough.

 

He has been doing stuff, even if it is minor (just like pretty much everyone else in the past 2 episodes, not including 4 since I haven't watched yet.) And in the way he's portrayed, he's definitely not showing an archetypical strong personality.

Minor stuff can be just as important as major stuff when developing a character's personality.

 

I think it's going pretty good so far. I think Wiess and Ruby will obviously end up as partners. I could be wrong, but it's likely in my book. Should be interesting...

 

Quite enjoying what they have put out so far. Anyone else find Juane just so adorable? He is like a me when I was in high school. Its scary, but I like it. The only complaint I have is the short time span for each episode. Although that's usual for them. I just happened to watch Red vs. Blue when it was done so the time never effected me. A they have a week to do it so its impressive what they manage to put out in that amount of time with other projects and all.

 

Series is looking great so far. Shame about episode length, but hey, animation is hard and they got a small team.

Top Quotes coming soon, but I do have to say my only down side is the length of these episodes still I understand that its really hard to do things like this and I know the series is epic so I have no problem waiting. Besides I can watch anime episodes that come out to pass the time play video games, work -.-, and get stoked for when Thursdays comes around another episode will be mine for the taking HA HA HA!!!

 

Totally. After last week's episode I wondered "Who would be Ruby's partner?" The first name that came to mind was Weiss. And considering how all four of the main leads become one team I think we can safely assume Yang and Blake become partners.

 

I watched episode one and it seems they changed Ruby's voice...did they?

 

Nope, same voice actress.

Perhaps they evaluate each set of partners and decide who should be teamed up with who. Or maybe they form teams to form names. (Like RWBY).

 

Well we'll have to see.
