Running Edge

Hanna appeared at the bottom of the stairs after her long trek down and walked almost out of reception, when she noticed everyone else was still in there, her forehead creased and she made her way back over to them. They all looked like they were about to leave though but she couldn't see Lynne. "What's going on? Did you find her or where are we going?" She asked quickly, it was clear she'd just missed something and the sooner she found out what the better. SHe did not want to be left out of the loop.

 

Lynne snorted, completely unladylike but she no longer cared. "So that's it huh? The sins of the mother become the sins of the daughter? Your sons...have more honor than you!" Lazard stared at her with cold, dead eyes, "Take a look at your new scars. They'll help you remember why I'm also going to send you into a place where your friends will go after you. To kill them all." Glancing down and lifting her shirt, Lynne's eyes traced along the even longer red lines, stapled shut, that ran from her belt line to just below her collarbone. "What...did you do? Wh-what...what's inside me!?"

 

kaleb stopped and turned to look at hanna.
"yeah, we're supposed to go this warehouse that no longer exists on 7th. this should be interesting."

alex stood alongside hanna with kevin in the wheel chair in front of her.
"um, kevin...i don't know what you want to do, but going with probably isn't a good choice."

 

Hikaru and Kaoru skipped along happily towards seventh Street. The only place they'd get cake would be back with Lazard and they knew that. "Do you think...those guys would try to follow us, Hikaru?" "Nah... plus, isn't he releasing our friend into the public soon?"

Lazard hauled Lynne up and half carried, half dragged her outside. "Keep your heart beat steady and don't let it get too high. If it gets too fast, your gift will go off prematurely."

 

kaleb turned towards a bathroom.
"i'll be right back before we go."
he ran off into the bathroom. it was obvious they weren't fans of phones so the last thing he wanted to do was get caught sending a message. kaleb scrolled through his contact list until he riku's number.

HEY, I NO WE'RE NOT SPOS'D TO TALK.

he closed his phone and walked back out of the bathroom towards the group who hadn't really moved much.

 

Ryku felt his phone vibrate in his pocket. Being on guard duty wasn't any fun. He did a double take on the message and groaned, "And I thought this stuff was done for a while...I suppose.... Hey, Dem, stay here would ya? There's something I gotta do." He didn't wait for his brother's perverted remark and headed to the park. The twins, hm? Kaleb must be in some serious trouble to be consorting with those two. Wait... he paused for a second before running to the park to meet Kaleb.

BIC: Mya scratched her head. I guarantee its a trap, but what can we do? We can't leave her there to die. Man it seems like she's grabbing all the danger out here...

 

Ryku waited at the park. He felt his mind buzzing with questions for Kaleb. 'Why on earth would the twins be involved with anything... Information that only top ranked EBO officers get...what are those two up to?'

Lazard shoved Lynne towards Hikaru and Kaoru. "Go...take her to the spot. I mustn't leave... I know Demitri would try to kill me on sight...Ryku...his punishment would be far worse. Just do it." Both of them saluted and grabbed Lynne's arms, "Yes sir!"

 

OOC: Man I'm slowly running out of ideas. I'm gonna need some plot opinions or else this RP is gonna die.

 

ooc: I don't know...every idea I come up with suddenly turns into the Runners and EBO aiding each other in a mission...

bic: Later down the street indicated from the twins, there stood a warehouse just like they'd said. Cept this one was nothing but a pile of rubble.

Lynne stood inbetween the twins Hikaru and Kaoru in the middle of what seemed like a multi-purpose store, bustling with people. Lynne struggled to keep her breath even and not let her heart race with fear.

 

kaleb and the others came down 7th street. he still didn't understand how there could be a warehouse down this street. there was nothing else here and he had been down it many a time on patrol. unless this warehouse popped up overnight, something was definitely fishy.

alex hurried towards the front of the group. if lynne had received any harm she would never forgive herself. she served no purpose the night before. she couldn't help lynne then but would not stop from helping her now. she absolutely wasn't dressed for this however and had to put her shoes in her bag and could already see her stockings shredding.

 

Mya followed along with the others until they reached their destination which turned out to be false just as she suspected. Well that's swell. It's just a pile of rubble. I don't see their stupid warehouse. She angrily tossed a rock at the rubble.
