Lynne growled at him. "What the hell is wrong with you!?" The man waved his hand at her, "Soon you'll learn why you're here. Once your friends get to the hospital...soon things will make sense." He pulled out a cheap cell phone and dialed quickly, "It's me. I have her. I know, I know. She's in one piece. They haven't been to the hospital yet. In position as always. Don't worry about my sons...they won't get in my way."

 

{ooc: time skip?? to the hospital, maybe? get the story moving again?}

 

OOC: I guess so. Any objections?

OOC: None from here either. Guess I'll have my character meet your guys there.

BIC: Mya and the others reached the hospital. It could be her, but she felt uneasy. She decided to shake the feeling off amd and headed towards Lynne's floor.

 

kaleb could tell they were all a little nervous at seeing lynne, so he decided to open the door for them. he had gotten kevin into a wheelchair once they reached the hospital, so transporting him was a lot easier. needless to say getting him into the wheelchair was a battle of it's own. he let go of the handles on the wheelchair and approached the door. once opened it revealed no one. there was no patient lying in the uncomfortable hospital bed. no doctors fussing over how impossible lynne was being. there weren't even any nurses trying to make her take pills and shove needles in her without her freaking out.
"this...isn't right...is it?"

alex walked out the front door with her bag over her shoulder. this time she made sure to shut and lock it. she didn't want a repeat of yesterday, or worse. she headed down the streets at a leisurely pace. alex knew that everyone else would be fussing over her by now and as much as she greatly wanted to do the same, it was the licensed professional's job. it killed her to be so useless. she missed the old days when they would just come back with a few scuffs here and there and she'd slap on some salve and a bandage. things were a lot more serious as of late. that also seemed to include mya and kurisu's relationship. alex grew solomn when she thought about that. it's not like she wanted to get too involved with anyone in the group, but she couldn't help but feel a little jealous of what they now had.

 

Hanna frowned, "Why isn't she here? Something's wrong. Though we probably should check she hasn't just changed rooms or something silly and ask someone before we jump to conclusions. But still I don't like this, we should have been here" She shook her head, she tried to tell herself she'd of just switched rooms or gone into theatre but she couldn't convince herself. Already guilt was beginning to seep in, despite her knowing well that it solved nothing. What if she had come earlier? Would Lynne still have been here? Could she have stopped whatever happened? She stopped herself from thinking these things, it might yet turn out not to be anything and even if it was they had to concentrate on saving her friend. She was worried for her, anything could of happened to her and they needed to get to the bottom of this and find her as soon as possible, with every second Lynne could be in more danger. It looked like her doctors orders might have to wait, a friend in need was more important than making sure a few bruises healed right.

 

"...We split up. Mya and Alex, can you try and find information from the doctors?
Everyone else. Search the hospital.
New guy, come with me and search the outside. This time, I'm okay with using phones to contact each other, but make it a simple text. 'Yes' if she is here. 'No' if she isn't. Regardless of the answer, we all meet back in the waiting room." Kurisu said. It felt weird taking charge, but he was one of the more experienced, and his Runner instinct was telling him something was gravely wrong and he was sure the others (well except maybe the new guy) could feel it too. It meant either... Lyne wasn't here. Or danger was coming... or both.

alex walked onto the floor and was about to ask why they were all just standing around when she saw it. she walked up to the door and saw that there was nobody in the room. lynne wasn't lying there like she was supposed to be and she began to panic.
"wh...."
she looked up at kurisu who started to take charge. it was weird listening to him tell them what to do rather than mya. even receiving instructions was weird for her, since she normally didn't show up til all the commotion was over with. alex nodded and then looked down at her outfit.
i guess i dressed a little impractical today.
she sighed as she stepped out of her shoes and stuffed them into the bag.

kaleb nodded and stepped next kurisu.

 

OC: I really fail at keeping up...If I could, could I have a recap? I'm really, really sorry for not posting in such a long time!

 

{ooc: well...since kaleb was kinda left hanging holding kevin up, i put him in a wheelchair. everyone is crowded outside lynne's room and just found out that she is missing. she was kidnapped, but they don't know it yet. kurisu just took charge and paired everyone off. you could start by being "what about me?" or something from your wheelchair.}

 

OOC: Thank you, I'm sorry about leaving you guys hanging, I've just been way to busy to get on. *Bows*

BIC: Kevin looked at the others from his wheelchair and asked, "What about me?"

 

"I think you're included in with everybody else search the hospital and that sounds like a plan. There's a lot of floors to search so I say we take a floor each, don't leave a door unopened. I'll take the top floor, we'd better hurry though. If she is in danger then every second we waste could cost us dearly. Yeah?" She paused grinning, despite the situation she wanted to keep moral up and if she was honest, she thrived on the pressure. She did not become a runner to sit around doing nothing, she welcomed the danger with open arms. She nodded at Kurisu, she liked the fact he had taken control, she'd not seem him like that before but she wasn't complaining. Plus she knew someone had to if they were going to get anything done. "Good luck everyone" She added before dashing off, she wasn't sure why she'd volunteered for the top floor but someone had to, and it may as well be her. She moved fast, she just hoped Lynne was okay and they were worrying over nothing.

 

"I'll start with the second floor then." Ren said heading for the stairs.

 

alex looked over at mya.
"shall we?"
she grabbed her hand to head down the hallway.

kaleb turned to face kurisu.
"we should go to, before something serious happens."

{ooc: sorry...don't really have much to say this evening.}

 

Lynne wiggled out of her binds and dashed for the door. The floor felt odd against her one slippered foot. The man came behind her and tackled her to the floor where they lay wrestling until Lynne's stitches burst open. Staining her shirt and pants as it increased, Lynne felt cold and exhaustion seep into her again. "This...isn't happening..." She stared up at the man as he watched her bleed out. "If you stay still and not fight me, one of my associates will be here soon to bandage you back up. Lay still." Lynne coughed and wheezed as blood filled her lungs. "Help...me, please... Mya...Alex...my.....friends..." Things went black for her and the man left her in the floor.

His cell rang again, "Yes. Good, deliver the message to her friends. Send John over...she's opened her wound. I'm no longer a licensed doctor, idiot! ....I don't know...she's still breathing...just get it done."

At the hospital two men wearing similar black suits with spiked auburn hair and light brown eyes leaned against the information desk, chatting almost casually in unison with one of Lynne's doctors. "What was her illness?" The other cast a smirk to his partner, "She wasn't sick. She was shot, twin." The other one returned the smirk, "Right...shot. Anywho...does she have any frequent visitors? We need to see them immediately."

 

Mya nodded and followed Alex, talking to every hospital associate. After talking to a few, all they said was they didn't see her leading her room. Mya sighed. She must have snuck out and a person could've taken her.

 

alex looked at mya exhausted from all the running around.
"do you know who her doctor was supposed to be? maybe we can find him."
she walked out into the lobby. there were a couple of men talking to a nurse at the desk, but she didn't pay them any attention.
"mya, something is seriously wrong. if lynne was in the hospital...if she was here...we would have found her...i...i didn't even get to see her...i...i can't believe i took my time getting ready. i never even got to see her"
alex couldn't hold it in much longer, but she didn't want to break down right then and there in the hospital. not until they knew what was going on with lynne for sure.
