Running Edge

Mya smiled. Sounds great Kurisu. Let's get back before Lynne starts murdering all the doctors in the hospital.

 

Hanna looked back at Alex but she had gone before she could reply. She knew she was supposed to rlax for a bit but that was her whole point. She hated it when they were out of action and couldn't do their usual, that didn't mean she was going to go angainst doctors orders but she still hated it and wanted to get back to normal. Although, when she was told she couldn't do something, she did want to go and do it to prove them wrong but her sensible side remained in control. She looked at Mya, a smile back on her face, "Good plan"

 

alex stepped inside of her house to get ready. she took a quick shower and afterwards changed into presentable clothes. she wore a black pleated skirt that stopped about halfway down her thigh and put on a loose-fitted red blouse. she also put on a pair of thigh high black stocking with red bows at the top and a pair of red flats. she did her make-up and then prepared her medicine bag.

BIC: Mya turned and lead the others back to the hospital. Anyways...what should we do after we visit her?"

 

{ooc: no problem. i was honestly getting concerned. especially since you and twilight and a few others have been actively posting in other threads.}

kaleb finished bringing kevin the short way to the rest of the group. they reached there just as mya started talking again.
"i don't know, but does this mean i'm in?"
he looked at her curiously, since it was clear that she was the one in charge.

alex finished packing various items in her bag. she figured by now everyone would already be back at the hospital spending time with lynne.

{ooc: i'm going to wait a bit to play as alex again, since everything she was doing should have taken awhile. at least until they have all finally gotten back to the hospital.}

 

ooc: honestly I don't know what to post...being kidnapped doesn't have much.

bic: Lynne woke and felt her hands and ankles tied to a chair. "Wh-what? Where am I?" "You're awake...good. You're a long ways away from your friends, that's one thing. The other...I'm about to make the Runner's have one less member." Lynne licked her lips and smirked, "You're a bad liar. You're not going to touch me." A man's voice laughed, the one that had spoken before, "And you believe that? Surely you underestimate my hatred for you." "For me, or yourself."

 

Mya nodded. I believe you're a good man. If no one objects, you're in.

 

kaleb waited patiently for the others to answer. he was sure that they didn't trust him completely, which was for the best since he did have a motive for joining other than to help. kaleb adjusted his hold on kevin, because his arm was getting tired.

BIC: Hanna shrugged, she didn't trust him completely yet as in her mind people had to earn trust but he seemed to do okay yesterday. Although, he was going to have to cut out the smoking and the alcohol that she'd smelt on him before if he wanted to become a good runner.

 

{ooc: no i didn't. he was just waiting to hear if everyone else was going to agree with mya. btw, i'm pretty sure you've had hanna say that exact thing once before when she met kaleb. it was like dejavue! =]}

kaleb watched hanna shrug. it was obvious to him that she didn't really seem to have a care for him, but kaleb didn't really mind. it wasn't like he was trying to grow a relationship with any of these lawbreakers. he would have to get away from them soon to phone his boss letting him know what was going on.

 

"Well... It's a bit unorthodox the way this has come about. I mean... don't we have tests for something like this?" Kurisu shrugged.
"Screw it, this is good enough for me, I say he's in for now.
We can worry about tests and things later." he said, scratching the back of his head. "There must be some way of going about it, but for now. We may as well have him come with, he's been involved in this anyway. We can't exactly let him just leave now."

 

kaleb smirked, assuming that the rest would agree, since three of them have already said yes.
"soo...to the hospital then? to see your friend"
he heaved kevin higher up his shoulder. it was starting to get tired, but he was trying not to show it.

 

Lynne spat at the man's feet and he backhanded her. Her cheek stinging and the taste of blood in her mouth made her mood even worse. "Oh aren't you just the polite little girl?! Mind your mouth, girl or I'll beat you into next week." She doubted he would; if he wanted to have her beaten and dead, he'd have done so already.

 

Hanna grinned "Yeah, that's right. If we leave it much longer, she'll think we abandoned her and we can't have that can we?" She kept up a bright face but she was actually worried about Lynne as she'd thought the others were at the hospital. Now it had turned out they weren't, the sooner we got to the hospital and found out how she was doing the better. "Do you think Alex would kill me if we did some running on the way there?"

 

kaleb looked at hanna confused.
"why would she mind? this is what you all do after all. right?"
he didn't understand why a runner would be offended by running, but he figured the more he got to know about each of them the better.

 

Hanna laughed, "No, after yesterday with the whole escaping fires and jumping out windows to save Kevin, I got a few cuts and bruises. So, Alex has told me to go steady for a few days and not do any running to let them heal. She's only looking out for me I know, but there is nothing like telling you you can't do something for making you want to do it." She shook her head, "It's like being grounded."

 

Kurisu smirked. "Well, while you should listen to the doctors orders. One thing for sure is you can never ground a Runner.
We're free spirits right?" he laughed.

 

Mya smirked at Kurisu's comment. Damn straight. You're right. Nothing like a gunshot wound could stop us.

 

kaleb could do nothing, but smile. everyone seemed to be in such high spirits, that he couldn't help but do so.
"i guess so. free spirits, huh?"
he thought about that for awhile. what it would be like to just run lawless. to be his own person.
