Running Edge

"I'd like to go check on her..." said Kevin, hobbling over to the door with some difficultly since he was still sore and aching. Then again she told me I should rest...Oh well, I want to know if she's ok...

 

Mya shrugged. I hope they don't go apeshit on us thinking we aren't being aware of our surroundings or something of that sort. She watched as they got closer.

 

"Is it just me... or.. am I seeing pajamas?" Kurisu asked Mya, thinking that his eyes might be failing him.

 

Mya sighed and scratched her head. So much for keeping a low profile. She could already see some people looking towards their direction.

 

Lynne took one step outside of the hospital and breathed deeply and winced. "Right...forgot, bad lung...bad Lynne, bad." she scolded herself and fisted her hand in her robe. "I'll kill Demitri for this..."

 

Let's see, what to do now. Allen thought as he walk down the street. Why does it always seem like I'm always stuck with nothing to do?

 

kaleb nodded and wrapped an arm around kevin to help support him. Then he lead the way out the door.

Alex stood up and started to walk towards kurisu and mya. Then she noticed kurisu eyeballing her and ahe stopped, remembering she was in her pajamas.
"****. this is so embarrassing."
they...they look so happy together. I thought...nevermind...i guess it's not important anymore.
She sighed and tried to hold back her feelings. She didn't want to jump to conclusions.

 

Hanna smiled at Alex, seeing her get up then looked curiously back at Mya and Kurisu. She walked up to them, smiling but unsure what to think, "Hey, guys. Um, so what's happening?"

 

"I had to make good on a bet." Kurisu chuckled. "We were waiting to hear from everyone etc, so... we just kinda got bored and hung out a bit.
I know it's not the best time, but it's not like we could do much without everyone else.
And besides, Runners gotta eat too."

 

Mya nodded, agreeing to Kurisu. What he said. Well we're done with our stuff so don't worry. So umm...how's Lynne?

 

alex had stood back, but within earshot. She wondered what the bet had possibly been about, but she tried not to let it bother her.
"what do you mean how is lynne doing, mya? I thought the two of you had been at the hospital all night with her? We haven't been down to the hospotal yet. That's actually where I was headed."
alex wrapped one of her arms around her waist in a failed attempt to cover up her attire. She wasn't dressed to be seen by people and never appeared this underdressed and casual in front of anyone, including the other runners.

 

Hanna nodded, "Oh, fair enough but yeah, I don't know. I was hoping you could tell us, it's been an unusual morning"

 

"Thanks..." said Kevin, he then fell back to his quiet self again, since he was exhausted and still in a lot of pain but didn't worry, since he wanted to see how Alex was doing, since she had frightened him, seeing her act like that was rare.

 

kaleb nodded and then slowly drug kevin down the city streets toward the small gathering of people. It took kaleb some time to bring kevin over to his teammates. He didn't want to overexert the kid since it was obvious he was in a lot of pain. By the time they got there everyone else was deep in conversation.

 

Kevin knew he'd get scolded, but didn't care, beacuse if he was, he'd know that Alex had returned to normal and that was a good thing to him that is...

 

Lynne grimaced as she walked the pathways through the garden. "Flowers.....so pretty...and yet...so painful to breath in.." A twig snapped behind her. Lynne spun and glanced around at the empty space. "Who's there?" Her palms grew sweaty as she turned around again. "Mya...? Kurisu this isn't funny." Her heart beat faster until she heard her blood roar in her ears. "Hello?" A man wearing a white doctor's coat tapped her on the shoulder and Lynne jumped, "Jeez, doc you scared me!" "I'm glad at least you recognize fear...for once, Lynne." Lynne's blood froze in her veins and the scent of chloroform hit her nose and the world went black.

 

OOC: Oh... shit just got real...

BIC:
Kurisu tried to calm down the situation a bit. "Last we saw... she was recovering well. Well... she was being stubborn Lynne, but hey, that is just who she is right?" he joked. "We've only been gone just over an hour.. so, yeah. Doctors are keeping an eye on her, although I imagine you'll wanna check up on her yourself, right Alex?."
Then he sighed, seeing Kevin and the other guy approaching. "I think everyone else is worried too." he pointed out.
"Right... well, plans have gone all weird today. So I suggest... Some people get changed." he joked with Alex, all in the spirit of fun. "and we head back to the hospital. What d'ya guys say?"

 

Hanna smiled, "That sounds good to me. I can't wait to get back to our normal butt kicking, I hate it when everyone's hurt and out of action"

 

OOC: For the sake of keeping my runner in this, let's just say he was in a different part of the hosipital.

Let's see, everyone else is gone and I have no idea where Lynne is now. Ren thought as he made his way back to the lobby. The way he saw it, he had two options. He could try and find Lynne or the others. Decided to find the others, Ren made his way out of the hospital.

 

alex blushed when kurisu nonchalantly commented on her attire and then she rolled her eyes as she turned around to head back to the house and saw kevin and kaleb walking toward them. alex aighed and started to walk away from the group. She looked back over her shoulder real quick to say something to hanna.
"hanna, as much as you want to get back to butt kicking, you need to let those intense bruises heal up a bit."
she walked towards her house and glowered at kevin as she walked past them.

Kaleb watched alex walk by.
"does she look back to normal now?"
