Running Edge

Kurisu took off too right on the count.
He darted, ducked, weaved and jumped over obstacles, and then decided to gain an advantage and move onto the higher ground of the roof tops again.
This way, he wouldn't have to climb as much when he got to the radio tower.
Of course, this wasn't going to be an easy challenge... Mya was indeed a skilled Runner too.

 

Mya jumped across rooftops and over various obstacles. She could see that Kurisu and her were neck to neck and she continued running. She then jumped down to a lower building and continued running.

 

Kurisu was running neck and neck with Mya when she went down to a lower building.
He stayed on his higher ground as they reached the final stretch of the race... It would come down to this.
He prepared to jump to the next building. He was going to jump onto an alcove and then grab onto the railing and swing himself round.
...He jumped, easily made it to the alcove, but when he went to grab the railing.
He felt his arm give out.
His wasn't a bad injury from when the bullet had grazed him, but it was enough here.
Kurisu found himself falling.
He managed to grab onto a window ledge and stop his fall, thankfully. But this meant he had definitely lost the race now.
..."Heh.. guess lunch is on me." he muttered, pulling himself up to watch Mya win the race.

 

OOC: It's actually lunch XD

BIC: Mya reached the top of the tower and looked back. Well guess I won. She made her way back to Kurisu and helped him up onto the roof. Say how did you fall? You were doing so well?

 

OOC: ...I knew that. *is still wearing the dunce hat*

BIC:
Kurisu accepted her help back up.
"Heh... Runners make mistakes. My hand slipped. Simple as." he told her.
His injury wasn't all that serious, he had just forgotten he had it, otherwise he would have compensated for the situation. It wasn't a problem.
But also, he didn't want Mya to think that she had only won because of his injury.
She was skilled, so she deserved to know that she won because of that skill too.
It was Kurisu's own fault that he had fallen anyway.

 

Mya smiled and poked his side. Well I guess you owe me lunch. Cmon let's go. I'm starving.

 

"A deals a deal." he smirked as she poked his side.
"Where to?
I dunno about you, but I'm not a fan of hospital food." Kurisu added.
"If I'm gonna treat you, it may as well be something good right?"

 

OOC: Also, take off that stupid hat :P

BIC: Mya scratched her head. Hmm...how about a noodle house? There's one a few blocks from here. I love noodles.

 

"Sounds good to me." Kurisu said, as he offered an arm to her playfully. "Well then, shall we?" he feigned a Gentlemen like tone and demeanour.

 

Mya smirked and took his arm. If you insist. Lead the way...sir.

 

OOC: *takes off the hat*
Meanwhile... what's happened to everyone else? lol

Kurisu did lead the way, following Mya's directions as needed, until at last they arrived outside the desired noodle house. With a big sign above it that read; Noodle Foodle (OOC: Don't ask... it's the first name I thought of)
"Hmm... I've never been to this place, should be interesting." he muttered as he looked at it, with Mya still on his arm.

 

OOC: Ya seriously, where did everyone go? :O

Interesting name...

BIC: Mya looked up at the store and sniffed the air. Smells delicious. Well let's get in. She pulled Kurisu with her into the place.

 

Kurisu let himself get dragged in by Mya.
"It sure smells good.
I'm pretty hungry... Anyway! Due to the bet, lunch is on me, so order what you like." he told her, grinning.
"I'm a guy of my word."

 

{ooc: ...i'm waiting on roxas...and midnight....they are both keeping my characters held in place.....}

 

OCC: Still trying to find a way to get my runner back in this. In the mean time I made a EBO

BIC: Mya sat down and called over a waiter. Vietnamese Beef noodles please. She looked at Kurisu. What about you?

 

"Uh... I guess I'll have what she's having." Kurisu said, having no idea himself what he should order.
"We'll see if you have good taste." he joked with her.

 

OOC: Omg if you every seen Viet beef noodles, they are DELICIOUS. Now I'm hungry for some T^T

BIC: Mya smiled and nudged him. Well that's why I'm here aren't I? Just like people say, women are better at food than men.

 

OOC: I haven't I have to admit, although it does sound good. XD

BIC: Kurisu smirked. "They also say the way to a man's heart is through his stomach." he added in.
Then he realised what he had just said. "I mean... uh. You know, not that this is like that at all." which obviously, it wasn't, this was just a meal as two friends. He had actually been joking, but he didn't want to suddenly make things go awkward.
Before... he knew he could have made such jokes without excuses, but now ever since the hospital roof, he... gah... was he just being stupid.
He shut up, and looked at the menu.. "Anything to drink?" he offered, trying to get away from it all.

 

OOC: :O YOU GOTTA GO EAT IT

BIC: Mya smiled, seeing how awkward the situation was for him especially. Maybe just water. She could see him blush slightly, but decided not to bring it up.
